There's not much foreshadowing to think about... the easiest to understand it is by these facts: 1. Luo Fan and Jiang Fan were both on the mountain at that time, and Lin Meng said it wasn't one of those who were there... them being in possession of the seals, which means that unless there's something abnormal that happens, no one would be able to become Exalted Celestial... 2. Chehou Yuan returns, as a Godkind(no one knew he became a godking) 3. He also had an Exalted Celestial spiritual treasure... though, forged by himself 4. there's also the timing of his return... from 2. and 3. of all the Godkings he is the most unique or abnormal existence... at least in my opinion. Except for Qin Yu, if you were thinking of Qin Yu, there could have been chances maybe...
Has he ever completely tied up the loose ends in any novel of his? It was pretty much the same in CD as well. But at least we have another IET novel that got translated completely
Hmm anyone got other novels of IET ad recommendation? Sigh why do I even ask I still got 8 other full novels I barely started reading.. Btw the next best ones as exalted celestial would probably have been hei yu, Hou fei or Jiang Li if chehou hadn't come back. Like, our MC is made for greatness and he already met the creator of that cosmos so there's no need for him to become a exalted celestial since he could kill exalted celestial as he wishes once his new cosmos finishes forming haha
I wouldn't say they have anything unique, except for Hei Yu who comprehended some time laws earlier than other people... As for IET novels, I recommend Swallowed Star and The Nine Cauldrons.
I really wouldn't recommend Swallowed Star. IET does not science. And a science xianxia isn't a great thing, as sword beams become laser beams and everything remains basically unchanged (at least till Volume 9)
It's not Xianxia to begin with as far as I know... I don't know about that, laser beams sounds logical to me taking in consideration it is science based and it's in modern earth... also laser weren't instead of sword beams, they were simply technologically made laser canons or something as far as I read. As for whether you like it or not or whether you recommend it or not, that's your own problem, I recommended it because I liked it, what more reason do I need?
Yeah I was thinking that Qin Yu would complete his cosmos and hence become an exalted celestial. But then latest chapter was like, in the next 3-4 months while Cosmos needs 1 more year. So I was pretty lost at that point
