In the strongest abandoned son the mc is reincarnated into modern times. By this does the author mean that he is in our universe or in an alternate universe like forty millenniums of cultivation. Or is it like the Lame Daoist Priest where there are others with superpowers? This is because I don't like stories where the mc is the only cultivator or such. Makes him too op.
There is mention of other possible cultivators in modern times in the series. As for, whether the universe is same or not, I am not too sure.
I had read up to ch 170+ the mc is really op there are no cultivators yet to appear but there are martial artists just like on 'True cultivators on campus'. He's on a quest to find the hidden sect of martial artist.
It wasn't clearly mentioned if he was in the real earth or a parallel version of earth. And so far no other cultivators was mentioned so far rn

actually remember when he attends that birthday party? Right as he is going inside a young man shows up and shakes his hand. The youth thinks he broke the MC's hand, but it was a trick by the MC as the MCused some sort of technique to make his bones dislocate or whatever. Im pretty sure that the youth was mentioned to be at least a martial artits if not a cultivator. Similar to the martial artists from True Cultivators on Campus. And it was repeatedly said by the MC that he knows that there are people stronger than him. Plus there is a little...Um, heavenly Qi or something...on that planet. Just not much compared to his previous world. Ah, but we can assume it takes place on earth. I think some cities or whatever might have been mentioned that are actually real and placed on earth. It's safe to assume that the planet is Earth(i dont get why you would think it may not be Earth). Also, if that is so...then whether or not the story is set in an alternate dimension/universe is irrelevent since it's just a different version of the same thing.

if there are any Earth-specific words that had been used, then its planet Earth or a verson of it. Im fairly sure that there were poems or songs or sayings that had been used. If the word "chinese" or some such thing had been used to then that would also indicate that it's Earth. You'd have to look closely as details like that. I cant recal a specific example tho, maybe i'll look for one later. Although i believe we're overthinking this, honestly.
