Both when Athanasia saw his blue diamond eyes for a moment during the party in ch 32 and when he clutched his stomach in pain on the rooftop after debutant party in ch 34 are kind of the confirmation that he is Claude's older brother. After all, Claude stabbed his brother in the stomach if i'm not mistaken.
As the stories goes, Claude became more and more attached to our Athy!!! He can become a sweet father in his own way, I love how he acts like a father that is all-over his daugther.
