Man, I couldn't take the new chapter seriously lmao XD, while Felix was babbling about Athy's drawings, Claude was like "Wot?? When did that happen? Am I going crazy or he (felix) is going crazy??". Seeing Claude secretly stuck up his daughter's drawings on a spot he could see it every second confirmed to me that he is the best tsundere dad. ♡ And yea, I too kinda dissapointed that the beginning of S2 turned out to be this cheerful (?) besides gloomy and emotional. But I think Illustrator Spoon or Author Plutos wanted it to be like this 'cuz you know, a relaxing start and after that the real deal knocks in a.k.a the heart breaking part as the plot starts to developing
Last part of chapter is pretty sad to me. Shows Athy's smiling expression then sitting in garden alone like that...
Oh my god, Claude, you’re so precious. He loved her so, so much (even though he can’t remember it right now). He’s such a cold tyrant to everyone else but obviously so soft for his little girl. He ordered them chronologically. Also, Felix is awesome and does not fear death. Claude looks like he’s almost smiling in that portrait. And Athy, that looks so lonely....
i've been silently lurking on this spoiler thread since the beginning of the year and i must say thank you for the wonderful spoilers! the recent update, chapter 49, the last panel of athy drinking tea alone made me sad

Or he will just looking at her and thought who is she ? And I'm little curious about their conversation did she will ran now? Or in next chapter ? I can’t recall well, but after seeing the scene where Claude claims he must get rid of Athy I guess next chapter will be the scene where he tries to kill her, ending in her running away from his side. Also the beginning of season 2 skipped some scenes that were on the novel, maybe they will show them as the story develops , so I’m not sure anymore
