Request Suggestion for translators

When making separators translators often put a long line of same symbols without spaces. This makes it break the border of space designated for text and on mobile forces users to zoom in because browser tries to fit entire line of symbols into screen. Thus making all text too small to read.

My suggestion is putting spaces after each or every 2-3rd symbols. It will allow proper word wrap or hyphenation, I'm not sure how it is called in English.

I believe it's about transitions with symbols. The kind where the translator uses symbols instead of the enter key to show that the perspective has changed or that the setting moved on.

 

I think theyre saying the long line of symbols forces mobile users to manually zoom cause double tap zoom tries to keep the long line all on screen? So they have to manually postion the screen for reading? I'm not entirely sure honestly but thats the best I can come up with.

 

Something like that I use ~~~~ rather than just 'enter'.

Oh i think i understand because i have the same problem sometime but it's a pretty rare problem for me though.

^ that is what <hr> is for indeed. If for some reason that can't be used, could use something custom like a couple of asterisks that should be centered.

Sometimes people use a string of symbols to break up text as shown bellow.

The problem is that if you dont put spaces between the characters then the browser cant wrap them when its viewed on smaller screens. Instead will fit the entire string of characters on one line and may even zoom out to fit that line within the veiwport. As such, the op proposes that they and spaces to separate the linebreak into chucks that can actually be wrapped.

Just putting less symbols is also good. So...
