Hi all, Need suggestions her. I'm looking for novel with multiple point of view story telling. Suchlike "The Lazy King" type of story telling.
I can't think of any other novel that switch POV that much. Quite a lot have ocassional change, but usually not really important. Overlord perhaps? Or if you dont mind something outside NU, try look up The Salvation War by Stuart Slade. Easily available, just google it
Game of Throne. Multiple POV for multiple faction. No definite protagonist. Even your favorite character may die.
Try Narita Ryohgo's work. That man author is the king of multiple POV. The most well known one is Durarara!! and Baccano! (really recommend baccano if you could find the copy). Vamp! Etsusa Bridge Then there's Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria, which use multiple POV often to trick the reader.
well, I can't really remember if it's using multiple POV or just plainly changing view from person to person during conversation... For Salvation War... I just can accept the political issue. Fiction = fantasy = no earth like or tech mumbo jumbo... It's just unacceptable for me regarding guns etc. Overlord... I'll check on it.
In example 1st chapter mc POV, 2nd chapter anti hero POV, 3rd chapter mc aider POV and so on. But the story not just by repeating the same event from different POV. I want the one which flowing continue as the plot go forward. Not repeat the same event using different POV.
To some extent, Death March features multiple POV, especially in the side stories at the end of each volume. Not much story progression in the side stories, though, simply alternate POV on the same events to develop the suporting cast better. Risou no Himo has an omniscient third-person narrator which follows a husband and wife team around, so there's more than one protagonist. Maoyuu Maou Yuusha has the same approach - a couple of protagonists working separately towards the same goal. Altina the Sword Princess features multiple POV from the third volume onwards. Madan no Ou no Vanadis is similar, presenting separate plotlines for each character that drive the overall series of events forward.
It has multiple view points. Ofc, the main characters view is shown usually, but that's normal right? There are at least....4-6 viewpoints. Lots of people assumed that the viewpoints other than the MC were just side stories and skipped them, but now they have to find all the viewpoints and read them cos they missed important stuff lol.
http://www.novelupdates.com/series/hachinan-tte-sore-wa-nai-deshou/ Especially in the latest chapters and intermissions. POV switches at least 3-4 times amount the nobles, MC, and MC's harem candidates. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/to-deprive-a-deprived-person/ Once the story starts to get going, every chapter seems to be from someone else POV with every 3 or 4 chapter is the POV on the MC. There is a lot of 3rd person narrating describing what the MC is doing. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/yobidasa-reta-satsuriku-sha/ Lots of political intrigue among people that don't know how to handle the mass murdering MC. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/ze-tian-ji/ Basically a story about misunderstandings on a national level. MC sits quietly in his library when virtually every major player (empress, pope, high noble families, military generals, clergy, leaders from other countries, demon king, etc.) of society debates about the supposed meanings of the actions of the MC. Numerous characters with the POV switching in almost every chapter.
