I want to read something about fantasy world but without cheat like ability, reincarnation, or cultivation type stuff. It's fine whether it's chinese, japanese, korean, anything as long it's translated to english. Something like Amber Sword but without game element, or Tsuyokute New Saga original timeline. Mc is nobody who just wrapped into it, working hard to survive or taking revenge and finally hailed as hero... though it's no longer matter since everything important to him/her is already lost...
Kamigoroshi no Eiyuu to Nanatsu no Seiyaku no game elements and MC isn't technically op Mushoku Tensei (WN) Is a really good read The Man Picked up by the Gods pretty realistic approach on problems
there is one that is a perfect fit to your criteria No Cheats, No Reincarnation, No cultivation stuff and fantasy world without game elements. It is one of the novels I love dearly. ALTINA the sword princess. Hope you like it too. Ofcourse you would find a lot more that fits your criteria in western fiction. [You might like "farseer" since it does fit your criteria.]
Lol. Poor Fitz isn't remotely close to OP and has very weak plot armor too. I could rec other western novels if the OP doesn't mind
Well the request included "working hard to survive or taking revenge and finally hailed as hero... though it's no longer matter since everything important to him/her is already lost" [Ha ha, so poor poor Fitz kinda fit right ? ] But you should feel free to recommend other western novels. [that way I can sneakily note down stuff I haven't read before]
If you're looking for a series where the MCs often have a very difficult time doing things and they aren't very strong in any extremely radical way, I highly recommend the Divine cities series. All of the MCs are Vaguely "good" characters who have done bad things and lost a great deal int he pursuit of their ideals.
http://www.novelupdates.com/series/maken-no-daydreamer/ The MC does reincarnate in a fantasy world but all his skills and abilities comes from his training after being reincarnated. MC focuces on both martial artist (including weapon training) and enhancement magic (thus increase his physical abilities). Other characters focus more on more typical forms of magic. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/oukoku-e-tsuzuku-michi/ Former child gladiatorial slave MC becomes educated by a noble women. MC decides to form a kingdom with his own hands. Low magic setting similar to Berserk or Conan the Barbarian with MC acting similar to the MC of those stories. Frequent and explicit sexual scenes. http://www.novelupdates.com/series/close-combat-mage/ Child MC wants to like his warrior father but instead inherits his mother's magic (which is typically a female only thing). MC goes to school and is the only male in his "water" element magic class. Trains his magic to have some abilities at close range (hence the title). MC uses his abilities and contacts to become rich and powerful, before setting out on a journey like his father. Spoiler: Things about CCM The author seem to have forgotten the original goal (go on a journey like his father), so the "prologue" of the story is about 250 chapters long (in a 750 chapter completed story). In order to correct that, there is a massive betrayal (Chapter 248) that causes the story to get back on track (except for the very bad after taste of the betrayal and basically destroying 200+ chapters of character development). After the betrayal, the story becomes a hero's journey similar to One Piece. This story gets a lot of bad reviews due to the above betrayal and the fact that the MC acts much older than he is. Basically, he becomes similar to Bruce Wayne in Batman by the time he is 8 years old and dictating national policy at 12 years of age. Also be warned that there are underage scenes of a sexual nature (i.e. MC with his classmates) that are explicit.
