You're waking up in a strange forest, then suddenly a mysterious man looked like Chris Evans informed you that you have been transmigrated in the world where martial arts and magic is equal, he told you to choose between using a sword or magic, otherwise, he's going to 'Mjolnir' you to the oblivion. Which one of these weapons you'll pick and why?
What happened to Chris Hemsworth? I choose shovel. If imminent death is the only third choice, then I'm ready to be dusted.
So I'm going to interpret that when you said "sword and magic is equal", you mean that they're both equally viable for combat methods. But outside of combat, magic seems like it'd be much more convenient in daily life. Teleporting long distance? Telepathy? Telekinesis? Cooking Rice? All of those absolutely require magic.
Duh. Missed the point. Ask for his Mjonir. One, it's obviously special if he is using it and Two, if you are holding it, he can't use it to "Mjolnir" you while you beat the crap out of him for some answers.
Magic. Swordsman can't use magic. Wizard can make his body stronger with magic and pick up a sword, THEN magically nuke targets.
Is this even for debate? We aren't used to killing things being modern people. For a close range fighter, any hesitation is pretty much death. For magic, you just go pew-pew. You also don't need to constantly wash your clothes due to blood. And magic probably has more daily life conveniences too.
What? You seriously don't know Chris Evans? He played Steve Roger(Captain America) in Marvel Disney. . I add 's' because that's his name, I thought you're being sarcastic there, sorry
