I seem to have developed a habbit of taking random electronic and mechanical devices apart so I can see what they look like inside, and figure out how they look. I always intend on putting them back together, but it seems like I always loose a piece in the process, or just get lazy and leave parts of it broken. For example, the other day I took apart a calculator, clipped the wire the connected the battery to the solar panel, and then put it back together looking good as new, but now with the special feature of not being able to use solar charging. I also took apart a cheap microscope and lost one of the tiny lenses. Anyone else have this problem?

I've always stayed away from the magic smoke reservoirs so it should be fine... but I suppose if I break it free I'll just take that as a lesson in carelessness.

As long as it stays as things then you can be saved. When you start breaking relationships. That's when your beyond saving.

I was smart when I started taking parts out of my truck like pistons, fuel injectors, etc and filmed myself doing it so I could basically just reverse what I did. Then I just save them to an old hard drive not in use anymore in case I forget what I did down the road.

I just have an instinct to examine stuff okay? I don't take any of the narcotics I deal with or anything. Nope, I am in my right mind.
I prefer to take apart things I can understand, so if I start dismantling relationships, I'll have truly advanced to a higher level.
I always lose parts right after I put them away for a time, so I've restrained myself from experimenting on any working cars of mine.

You have earned my respect, because you will make a perfect villain. I mean no insult to your deviant behavior or such. I simply desire to acknowledge someone like you is a rough gem waiting to be polished and sparkle on the stage of conflict.

Imagine applying that twisted nature of yours in a world of machines or per say, the target of your destructive curiosity would be flesh, rather than machine. Ah~ I can already see it! A villain worth a centuries' massacre! Truly, I can never be bored here. Finding people like you, makes reality somewhat even more interesting than it already is.

    You have my gratitude, Ripper.

I did this a lot when young...o.o at the age of 5ish I took my mothers sewing machine apart... stripped it right down to the frame. Naturally being 5ish there was little chance of it being put back together... though I did try xD later I moved on to computers, bicycles, and broken household appliances... there was some success with the computers and bikes, but there was little I could do other then strip parts from the appliances(the electric motor in a clothes washer is more powerful then I expected xD )

A few years after the sewing machine incident, I was a Jack in the box for a Christmas play, ... my part was to escape out of my box ,run around the audience, up a set of stairs to get onto the stage, then be caught and boxed again. It all went fine until i got back to the stage to be caught. Mom sewed my costume and missed a few straight pins in one of my curly slippers... I hit the first step at a dead run and froze solid when a straight pin went right into the meaty pad under my toes... they had to carry me backstage xD I remember the audience laughing and trying to play along, they likely thought I just stubbed my toe or something lol

I'd be horrified if I were sent in for bot maintenance, only to have lost a screw in the process. Can you imagine what the world would be like if NUF Love Bot had a screw or two loose?
