It seems more like it's been put on hiatus. There seems to be health issues with the author in addition to the editorial notice. Hopefully the he gets better.

 

The only thing I like about this novel os the territory building or kingdom building.... his knights are now even hard to remember because of their different duties and assign job includong the people close to Lorist.. Hope he finds a Queen for himself

Hi, I feel like this needs some addressing. When I realized that the raws haven't been updating, I went to tieba (Chinese version of reddit?) and one user said that he had contacted qidian customer service and got the reply that the novel was being 'rectified'. It might be interesting to note that the author released another chapter after posting the notice above before it was taken down from qidian.

And the user who said that was 天涯海角的马户: "问客服说是整顿，但也太久了", which translates to: "I've asked customer service and they said it was being rectified, but it's taking rather long."

I would be cautious in deciding whether the novel has been officially dropped or not. Given the complicated plot threads, I can only imagine how long it would take for a writer to remove mention of male-female interaction to appease the censorship board (Rivercrab-sama), so it won't be a surprise to me if this ends up taking some time.

At any rate, my current plan is to continue the translation (as there's still quite a decent amount of content to cover and several good 'stopping points' for it even if the novel ends up dropped). On the other hand, I'll patiently wait and hope for the author to come back one day.
