I have a few questions for anyone who reads the story Tales Of The World Devouring Serpent First off, I feel like I have to ask; does the MC end up become just another douche "Monster" MC like is common with these stories? or does he retain some sense of a moral compass and compassion? And does the Translator get better as time goes on? I've only made it about 6 chapters, and so far I'd only give the translation a 7ish. Not great, but readable. I've noticed that the Translator actually keeps with it till the end of the series, do they improve as time goes on?
I don't know how far you read the story and I have no idea what you mean by douche monster, but... Spoiler mc doesn't start killing everybody out of anywhere or for the sake of benefits but it(he? the mc stays a snake of various power levels for the whole story) certainly kills tons and tons of humans. Like planets worth
Well it could be worse haha. If you ignore those parts, he is pretty much ‘if you leave me alone, I’ll leave you alone’ and tries to ignore humans. But yeah, the nationalism rears its head. Repeatedly.
It is only worth the first half. After the protagonist strarts traveling the universe it is simply repitition after repitition. Somone more powerful hunts him -> protagonist escapes -> protagonist gets stronger by eating plantes/stars. -> Protagonist kills the hunters -> Oh, no! The hunters had backing. Shock! -> repeat. This goes on for hundreads of chapter. Till the novel ends.
Well it sounds half interesting, I will add it to my emergency wish-list. Does he spend more time like a snake or like a human? Does he use the snake form only for combat?
