Why are you so sure that TDQ is becoming another ATG. Why can't it be that ATG learned from TDQ and is developed from it
I dropped both ATG and TDG. Not because of the harem genre, have no problems with a MC having a harem. Just found the stories becoming boring.

If it's like that I don't see why Nie Li should keep pursuing her, where I was in the story none of the circumstances that lead to the relation happened in anyway, Zi Yun doesn't see the death of her family, the abandonment of her finance, the hard life style of being on the run, she had no self revaluation of herself.
I dont either.. but I guess the author insist for those 2 as a couple. Though zi yun wont feel a thing even if ni lie get togather with ning er or any other girls. Ni lie obsessiveness is kinda creepy in my oppinion.
actually all xianxia pretty much the same, the mc will gain more and more strength while if harem tag is added, mc gonna add another waifu along the way... btw you should add that Spoiler xiao yu as well, since he actually female and gonna have some feeling to mc hahhaahha
I mainly read Xianxias for the level up and power up aspect. Even if it's harem, I root for just one girl. Like Little Fairy in ATG and Ning'er in TDG. As long as the MC returns her love, I have no problem with harem.

zi yun is still confused about her feelings but the bud of romance has already been planted on her heart as evidenced by her missing of Nie Li when he went off to train. Zi yun is the type that needs something as a catalyst for her to act and Nie Li genuinely wants her to develop feelings for him so he doesn't push it instead he shows his devotion for her by helping glory city because it means a lot to zi yun. What they have will probably a very slow burn romance that would probably rival johnlock lol
From what I remember, didn't she almost sleep with him, but he turned it down since they're both pretty young (at least she's young -_-) also, isn't the whole thing with ning er that zi yun feels that she doesn't deserve him, because that ning er liked him more (or something along those lines...)
