I have seen a few female assassins goes back in time this will be the 3rd or 4th so...

 

All I can think about it Mother of Learning it is not Xianxia and not going back to the past but he has to replay the same like 3 moths over and over again and is a really good book

how about True Martial World he's basically from modern world and got transferred to new body in another world

 

That's the reincarnation type I guess. I'm looking for the type when you go back to your past, start over differently to untie the regrets, have one more chance at life. It's every man's dream isn't it?

i don't think so, descent of the phoenix is more of a dramatic love story, like most stories with a female lead.
whispers of the nightingale isn't completely about love and drama, wich is one af the easons i love the story so much ^^
of course there's also love and such in the story, but that's more a part of the story instead of the whole focus of it =)

MC is called trash.MC is bullied because of it.
Mc has skill from prev live.
There are demon beast and alchemist roaming around.
So unless you hate a romance plot from the female point it has all the good points of xianxia. And it isn't a whole bunch of fights stringed together (I hate it when a novel just becomes fights after fight fight without plot).

Its a great comedy with the xianxia system.
There are 2 protagonist basically.
The female MC who can cam from earth.
And you standard xianxia protagonist times two. Has harem building skills, secret skills and treasures and if there not a love interest. everybody around tents to die. including ofcourse the real MC who has the deal with the fallout of his stealing treasure and fighting beasts
