Are you really looking for advice? Because there's no such thing as "One way to hit them all".
You'll flirt one way with one, and flirt differently with another one. Some women do like more explicit flirt, others like more subtle. Also depends on the mood, the place.

I do agree with kkgoh saying you should learn what NOT to do. I've already punch one guy because of his behaviours... Sadly, not the first time, maybe not the last also.

Flirt mostly depends on feeling the moment. But flirt doesn't mean it will go further.

The best advice is to stop trying so hard. People are smart. They’ll pick up on you being desperate. Now I don’t advise you to be indifferent. If you want something go for it, but realize you may not get what you want in the end. Be a man. Stand up and advance. Sure your going to be rejected a few times, but speaking from experience. Sometimes you do get the girl. Of course I was rejected at first. So I pulled away from her and started dating three girls all at the same time trying to get over her. Than she became jealous and I got her anyway, but that’s besides the point. Be confident fate or destiny has a funny way of working out.

Well, I have not only had been skilled in flirting with girls DESPITE being an introvert, I also have social disability in communicating with people yet even with that, I am friends with girls whom had considered to like me even with an average appearance. Plus, living in a place where guys constantly flirt with girls, you also gain some sort of skill relating to it, also having prior knowledge in psychological training to observe and learn which girl you like, added addition to the fact that I once stalk my crush to raise my relationship with her to best friend level(since dating at the time wasn't what I thought and it was too late for me to realize it). Finally, with the knowledge of anime and manga/novel, I gained enough credentials to prove my point.

I would like to submit my resume but considering I actually forgot that that this isn't a full-time job application, Its only fair to submit my basic summary of my skillset for now and not reveal my cards.

Interesting comment aside, @Cutter Masterson did have good points. Being desperate will only get you desperate people (or people who plan to scam you). And you should not be afraid to be rejected a few times before you find someone.

To be honest, I would actually recommend you take a step back and consider why you want a girlfriend in the first place. Because it's not like you won't find companionship elsewhere, and you sound at least mildly desperate for a girlfriend.

 

honestly man, just shoot your shot. whatever we advise here when you are in that moment you mind won't go overdrive and remember all this. At that moment just be sincere since you don't have any experience just show your interest but don't try too hard. just try if the same person shoots you down like twice just look for anther person and improve yourself or whatever. but man just try. every failure thickens your face which in turn would make you smother.
