    watching Tensei Shitara Slime datta Ken, and i found an unnecessary dryad boss of the forest that orders Rimuru to kill the Orc Lord and also attacking the hidden devils....wtf.....also the lizardmen were given 5 days to defend themselves from the orc horde in the novel, which turned into 7 days.....
    how many stupid additions are there?

    The difference is because the anime is based on LN, while the novel translation is based on the WN. you can also read the manga and compare it.

    Treyni appeared much earlier in the LN. Also the anime is based on the LN and not WN.
    Guro,clown and the others translated the WN.

    I’m sure that the producers wanted reassurance as to the popularity of the series, and get the go ahead for the second season before slaughtering 20,000 humans. :blobfearful:

    Bu I completely agree...slimes are so much cooler as Demon Lords.:blobhero:

    Edit: The lead up to the Demon Lord arc, the whole thing with the girl with the fake heart is LONG.:p

    Overall I thought the show was pretty good, but my heart dropped when I saw they ended before the Demon Lord arc w/ no confirmation of a season 2.

    Hmm so I thought the anime was based off the manga since there was almost no difference between them. Can't wait for the demon lord arc though
