Using the word demi human is derogatory against sentient humanoid races beast man could also be not acceptable so what else would you call them other than non humans?

Unless if they're elves. Having been an elf myself, though the majority of my elven life was in slavery to a dirty human douche, Ai-chan can say that elves are just like humans. Elves are just prettier.

And to begin with: just because we only have the word 'human' doesn't mean that there is no word in the language of the different world that can refer to beastkin without putting them into comparison - man is the measurement of all, even language (no feminism please)

Well, why don't you go shove a tail up your arse and place yourself in a non-human's position, then ask yourself "What do i want the humans to call me?", hmm?

Simplest way of finding out what someone else wants is seeing things from their point of view. (Well, you know, other than asking... but we don't have anyone to ask here, do we?)

 

Just put a random name xxx and tell they are from xx planet thus they are named xxx or randomize....
Beastlings can be cat-kin dog-kin etc

"People" is a bit of a stretch. Non-humans can just be called "slaves" or if they're not properly collared, call them beasts or scum. Or if they're elves, "slut" works.
