Hi, idk where to post this so I'll do it here. I plan on writing a new idea, the concept and story is all ready.. But I'm stuck at one thing.. character names -_- So I'm asking here for serious help. I need 23 names. 12 female, 11 male. And the names to be region/nationality specific. (name and surname) For males, they're from Germany, South African Republic, Australia, Canada, Argentina, India, Mexico, Spain, Romania, Morocco, Israel. The name can be the most common one of each country. They're somewhat normal people, middle working class. For females, they're from USA, Brazil, Russia, UK, China, Japan, Egypt, Italy, Australia, South Korea, Armenia, Canada. Women are daughters of successful families (by any means). I would've googled but not sure about it.
i will let people speak, as a non Spanish I like Juan very much I will add this for the brazil one Camila Gomes
Just search on google for good baby names in those countries, I just searched good baby names in Germany and found a whole list with meanings which should help you
Chinese girl name - Yuezheng Meihua Korean girl name - Han Sooyeon (maybe not Han as the surname) Japanese girl name - Iriai Shizuku Those are all surname first.
Do women of successful families from Canada, Korea etc have different sounding names? Or is that bit irrelevant to the naming?
I'm guessing s/he added that on so that we could recommend names that have an air of "success" or "luxury". Like, when you look at this name and with the character, you would be like, ah, yeah, this sounds like the name of a rich and successful woman. Or something along those lines.
Cultural Melting Pot. Names could be English, Chinese, Indian, Native, French, Irish, Scottish, Norwegian, German, etc... There are also successful members of each group so that doesn't make things easier. It's hard to say there is a uniquely Canadian name, unless you go the Native route.
-Boys- Germany: Keyser Soze South African Republic: Tsotsi Nomsa Australia: Jack Hunter Canada: Logan Jones
Isabella Gagnon Zachary Martin http://www.parentscanada.com/baby-name-finder/top-100-baby-names.aspx https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_common_surnames_in_North_America#Canada_.28Canadian.29
Emma Brown could also work ... but you put French first ... and Isabella Gagnon just seemed more likely to have some connection or roots in French Canada.
thanks but I think I'll go with the previous German name suggestion. if you have other names, feel free to suggest what the who? xD
