Hi I wanted to know if anyone knows if the "That time i got reincarnated as a slime" anime is built on web novel or light novel?

It's one of those animes that isn't very different from the light novel yet....

It gets very repetitive the more you read it, so realistically it might be better to just enjoy the anime

 

im thinking LN cuz thats where the manga went;. so far in anime idrk as the main divergence hasnt occurred.

 

Based off Light Novel with some changes here and there.

 

Okey I was wondering because it seemed like most people liked the web one more than the LN. Don't know if that is true just what it seemed like to me.

It's because WN is free, while the raws for LN are harder to get,usually through buying the actual raws or illegal routes, and the translation for the WN came out 1st.
Manga/Anime adaption come from the LN, never the WN.

It seems to me like the anime is a direct (basically 1 to 1) adaption of the manga, which is itself based upon the light novel (it's unlikely to be the web novel since I assume the LN is of more publishable quality).

 

Light novel. The rising of the shield hero anime is also going to be light novel. On a related note, slime tenses has been the best anime of the season for me. Now all I need is konosuba to come back

 

I agree one hundred procent with you it's really good just what I wanted out of that anime. But on a separate note is konosuba any good I've been thinking about watching it but I don't want to watch it if it's not good.

 

There is a few differences up to now, but the first major divergence from the WN should be happening fairly soon.

I am enjoying the LN and in the LN, Shizu gets barely half a chapter.

The WM and Manga had a good bonding scenes with Shizu before she...you know, but the LN dumped most of it.

Also, it's implied we'll see the Ogres reaction to their village getting stomped...not in any previous media.

They might also drop the you know arc...with all the free Shark-fin soup and sashimi. I am not seeing it in the credits.

I just watched it you were right it's really great

 

I couldn't stand it after 3 eps...I really tried, but that level of stupidity annoys the crap outa me.

 

I get it its not for everyone but I watch it just after watching 6 eps of Goblin Slayer and its been a good palette cleanser from that kind of disturbing anime
By the way don't recommend watching Goblin Slayer just after that "time i got reincarnated as a slime" they have to very different messages and two very very different views on goblins...
