    Anri from Evil God Average
    Tanya from Youjo Senki
    Ainz from Overlord
    Lufasu from Wild Last Boss Appeared shows promise.
    Makoto from Tsuki ga might make it if he was not so fundamentally incapable of figuring shit out most of the time, but as it is, he is not one of my favorites (decent story though, i suggest giving it a read).
    Saitama from One Punch Man if we go for manga (and anime) only characters instead of light/web novels.
    Strawhat crew from One Piece would make it, except they are not all that OP when compared to other top fighters in their setting.

    Casual beatdowns can be entertaining, but the characters kinda need a hook to them to push them past just entertaining.

    Emperor's Domination by far the best one for me. Straight off the bat, no bullshit.

    Lin fan or Bai xiaochun, but both aren't that op cus there's still people in the novel who can beat them up, but they cunning tho

    I really like Hiiro from Wordmaster and Li Qiye from Emperor’s Domination.

    Edit: ooh and Rimuru from Tensei Slime.

    There is WMW it's kinda slow and gets boring sometimes but
    He absorbs time and space with a bunch of other shit and becomes badass

    The opness of the mc of emperors domination is near disgusting so I just have to pick him as the most op imo

    this is probably the best for on-going stories.

    sadly all these stories with op protag usually end with a trashy ending...........

    Is izayoi from mondaji tachi counted as op? I mean there's lot of Gods that stronger and he can't beat azi alone. Well he was badass though

    It was one of the best Japanese novels I've read. It may not be lord of the rings epic but it was certainly avengers level of having a good time. Action, comedy, drama, creativeness story flow, it was much better than mushouko tensei which seems to get better reviews.

    TGL is not bad but i think Vur from The Blue Mage Raised by Dragons (RRL) is better for an all-round well done OP MC.
