Are the novels written by DragomirCM allowed on this site?

Against:
- He writes the stories in English
- He does not live in Asia, he lives in Romania

For:
- English is not his first language
- He bases his stories on Asian genres and they have a large influence from those stories
- The stories are hard to tell apart from Asian stories except the difference in tropes, viewpoint and values.

 

Any novel that has translator can be added

Nope. This is a translated novels site. Translated, as in, from the language they were originally written in. It's written in English first, and thus is not being translated, so... nope, not a NU novel. Royal Road would work, though. Honestly a weird line of demarcation, in a lot of ways, but a biggie because without that line every fan work/original work ever would bloat the hell out of this site. In the long term, it may be beneficial to revamp the update site into multiple family sites; sorting them by genre/tropes rather than by language transition. But that changes the model of the site entirely, so... kinda up to Tony to decide if that mess is something he even wants to deal with.

I assume you mean to post it on Qidian or a similar Chinese web novel hosting website, then have it translated citing those as the raws. Then yes, yes you can. Though I'm not sure if anyone would go through the trouble of doing that if English is their first language. it would probably ust be easier to post it on RRL and stay regular with your updates.

Any novel that is Asian in origin, is published by an Asian publisher and has a translator can be added. This is called an OC Original Composition not to mention he writes in English so it's not translated at all. These are novels that go up on RR and some translators do host them on theirs.

I thought that only the Title and Genre are required to post it on this site. I haven't posted anything yet, but that makes it seem that there does not need to be a revamp for a non-translated novel to be posted.
