LCD The Book Eating Magician

Hey I was planning to read this book but I just got to chapter 30 where Sylvia is introduced and the author saying how she's the most important person the MC met in his 19 years old life, so I need to ask before I continue further. Is this gonna be another story where the MC has a bunch of people his age keeping up with his power up ? what's his final circle ranking as well as hers ? thanks

 

Just binged from 350-400.
I quite enjoyed the ending. It was a satisfying read, I wanted more of an epilogue but I want that for every novel I finish reading. An open ending is easier to write for the author and overall pisses off a lot less people as they can imagine the story continuing however they imagine it.

 

I enjoyed the story from the start until near the end of him being at the 7th circle, afterwards I think the quality dropped a lot especially with all the random magic and abilities that appeared as well as the author trying to constantly create one world ending calamity after another without any breather. The story stopped being about the MC going on adventures to explore the continents and fighting powerful individual enemies plus collecting magic books and learning magic. I also didn't like how it ended with Gluttony.

Yeah, it does read a lot like a constant boss rush...though that arguably starts long before transcendence, with that set of SUPERBIA chapters.
I actually didn't really mind the ending with Gluttony; I thought it was pretty much telegraphed the whole way through that that fight was inevitable. If anything, Gluttony was a lot more friendly about it than I was expecting (he even asked Theo to go ahead with the tenth circle before attempting to devour him). Maybe there could have been a little more emotional resolution, but all in all, I'd say it's on the better side of the scale of webnovel endings I've read, especially when it comes to Korean novels.

 

What happened to the story, it like disappeared off of the face of the earth on Wuxiaworld.

look through the announcements, wuxiaworld was talking with Korean publishers regarding officialising their translations. Taking them temporarily down during the talks was proposed as a show of goodwill during the talks. They put them back eventually, but as you pointed out probably left out the completed ones, either because like me, they are forgetful or the conditions changed and just the completed ones being down is part of the agreement

that Novel is not very detailed written is it? Like when he is in the black market at the very beginning it is not clear what the conditions are. Or does he just get every item that is not good? :O

And what is now "sensitivity"? Is it just "control"?

The system of the academy seems to be bad too. What´s the point in not checking a Mages power already in the first grade? Why let somebody with no power at all advance to the 2nd grade?

 

So... Depending on the agreements, the novels might or might not be posted back?

Well, I have absolutely nothing to do with wuxiaworld except for being a reader, so it’s just my assumption as to what happened. Your assumption is just as good as mine just try what the other people here said - either the mirror site (have no idea about it myself) or personally I’d bet my money on internet archive

 

When can we expect this to be back, i had kept this novel on a hold and was looking to pick it back up, but its been so many months now ....
