You know what's nice about this novel unlike pkmn? The MC actually grows up. He matures. He aint a lil' kid like Ash no more.
He'll probably deal with it when he goes back home. I am thinking even subduing it again. Killing it would cause a great shock to his soul afterall.
It's true that Ash never grow up from his childish and annoying personality, but at least he has one. MC's personality isn't a mature one, he is just a cold blooded murder.

Its pokemon for adults , ..... i binged the novel yesterday , and that the only thing that came to my mind , and now to see people have similarly thought the same way , it feels NOICE Exactly , i think the MC is mature , he is not a cold blooded murderer , i mean you dont challenge a guy , who has no background ( perecieved by his opponents) to kill his "life line" pets and hope to live after it ! , he is not fking batman / superman dumb fk. Kill 1 and avert 5 later on , am more annoyed about those MC , who act soft and mature and inturn kill more and more . , Killing decisively is much better/
Spoiler from what i remember. the first pet (defected pet) of chu mu is actually half human half pet (she got double soul). because she is an ancestor bloodline plant type pet she doesnt want anyone to restricted her so she ran away from chu mu and want to create her own empire. at first no one know she is soul pet of chu mu. but when chu mu beat her, he revealed her identity. she is like a mid boss in the novel. an existence who easily control two or more big organization (like the one who kidnapped chu mu in the beginning and chu mu mother organization) if you want to read how chu mu beat her read from chapter 1186 - 1213
What happened to the girl in prison island? The girl named Xia Xue that used her body to survive in the early chapters then was also sent to prison island. Chu Mu did not kill her but the island was destroyed so i was thinking what happened to her. Well, more chances that she was just a nobody from the early chapters.

It just finished. Now its the revenge act i think or the nightmare palace act... i dont know why but lately all the novels im reading had a petty ending. I hope this is not like those, well its gonna be a while til it ends but even so.
