Romeo and Juliet, a tragic pair of star-crossed lovers, have been given the chance to do-over their lives. Back with the desire for revenge and with the help of their trusty confidantes, they aim to get rid of all those who stood in the way of their happy ending last life. Once both their families have been eliminated, they will be able to live out their happy, romantic lives, riding off into the sunset together on a shining horse.

Meanwhile, their families are trying to suppress them as they fight against each other. Despite the imminent life-threatening crisis, they are unable to put down their grudges with the other family and refuse to budge from their 'you die or I die' stance with each other.

Thus, a three-way triangle of enemies is formed. Who knows which group will be the final victor?

General Rules:
1. Be respectful. No cussing, no offensive insults, etc.
2. Do not discuss the game outside this game thread.
3. Do not edit posts after writing them.
4. Do not game throw. This includes jesting (acting chaotic or suspicious on purpose) and all sorts of revenge actions.

Roles:
1. A typical three faction game. Each faction's win condition is to eliminate all other factions.

• Star-Crossed Lovers Faction (Mafia): 4 players, including the lovers Romeo and Juliet. All 4 are PRs.
• Capulets Faction (Town): 5 players, 4 PRs, 1 creep.
• Montagues Faction (Town): 5 players, 4 PRs, 1 creep.

Game Details:
1. Both the Day Phase and Night Phase will last 24 hours each, unless all living players unanimously vote to end the phase early.
2. The mafia faction will have a Night Chat. No talking allowed there during the Day Phase.
3. The lovers, Romeo and Juliet, will have a Lovers Chat, which will be open during both the Day Phases and Night Phases.
4. No powers will be revealed. However, you can reference the original work for a clue at the role names!
5. The factions and their roles have been balanced somewhat, so no one faction has too much favor~

Lynch:
1. Plurality: the person with the highest number of votes at the end of the day gets lynched.
2. Majority: If at any point of the day, the majority of the players vote on one person, the day will end immediately and that person will be lynched.
3. In case of a tie, all players in tie will be lynched.

How to Vote:
1. Either write !vote [player name] or post the new Vote Count, with your vote noted at the bottom.
2. Bold the vote and ping either @LiLi041 or @Blitz when you vote.
3. Votes inside quotes or spoilers do not count.
4. Players who have not voted at the end of the day will be given a warning.

*Note: Voting [No Lynch] is allowed. Voting [No Lynch] will also count as having voted.​

5. Official Public Vote Counts are present and will be updated as soon as possible.

Posting Requirements:
1. At least 5 posts every Day Phase (24 hours).
2. If a person doesn’t meet the required amount of posts within the first 24 hours of the day, they will be prodded (tagged by the hosts and asked if they can still play the game).
3. If a player does not respond within 12 hours after the first prod or gets prodded three times, they will either be substituted or modkilled.

1. A standard multiball usually involves a second mafia party rather than a second town party. In that regard, this setup is not something I would consider as "typical". However, I suppose this setup is what a Nuffian would call "DotA Civil War", so I guess it could be considered "typical" in this forum.
2. Wait, so this is basically an inverse game? Damn. You should've kept the details a secret. I played games like this (i.e. FMs where the flavors were switched; where the "bad guys" are town while the "good guys" are mafia) twice in my entire FM history, and it was genuinely fun getting confused as to which side was the minority and which side was the majority. ...I guess the cat's out of the bag now though.

Oops. I thought the multiple townie factions was the typical one.

I mean, I am just saying it out of my experience. I could be wrong, and the general multiball might not always involve multiple mafia parties, but it (i.e. multiple mafia parties) is simply the multiball setup I am used to.

 

Oh, I see! This game's three faction set-up was kind of based off the Civil War FM game, which I thought was "the canon for games with multiple factions."

Hold up. I just realized this is 5v5v4, but since only mafia can kill, it's essentially 10v4.

That means that this game is no different than DotA Bot FM, where the game can automatically end after three mislynches and three nightkills.

The only silver lining preventing a Game Over at D4 would be the Power Roles.
...with that in mind, I say that we shouldn't claim our roles at all.
