ty so much for the spoilers! and happy new year too, the candy cane icon was my gift thank you for your spoilers
Thank you @Alice.H! HNY "That's why you want to buy it. You are smart." Ian is basically saying "you had the same genius idea as me, you're smart"
Thank you for the spoiler Do you perhaps know what chapter they'll find out about it? (In the Manhwa) Is it in the 70s? 80s? or on the 100+?
Well, technically not. That's why the grandfather wanted his child (mc's mom) to marry ian's dad. He wants status (but fortunately this is the main reason he approved ian and kate haha). But hogan family has so much money and influence, so they can blend on society & politics. This is one of the reasons why nobles want hogan family keep in check.
Thanks for this spoiler. I’m currently on chapter 58 and this clarifies the backstory for that young Hogan dude that Annie told Kate. I was wondering why the man’s children were said to have run away. I guess Kate’s mom is the daughter that ran away.
Why is Ian and Duke Evans, in particular, mana consumers/absorbers? Were their fathers relatives even if distant? I know they are considered to be cousins but that’s really through Ian’s stepmother. I’ve caught up to the most recent chapters and even though that elf has good intentions towards MC, his method doesn’t consider that she’s an adult and should be able to weigh in on her own circumstances to make decisions. Personally, I don’t like him because of his bigotry. There’s obviously good and bad witches. Why isn’t it the same for mana-consumers? I don’t find Ian and Duke Evans individuals that would intentionally hurt others. But even if that’s not the case, I think Kate is the one who should break it off with Ian, not the elf.
