I can 100% assure you that her idiot old husband is completely death, finito, gone forever never to return. In fact, I think his soul was taken and destroyed or something like that, I don't remember well. The one at his body is also named Dereck, but he is a completely different person with different personality and more importantly, different moral principles. You'll come to love him uwu. So yeah, a lot of gold 19 going to happen here. He also came from the Devildom or something like that (the Devil Kingdom) that is currently at war. So no blood drinking. Again, sorry guys xD The next question was Spoiler: What happened to him? So you may be wondering: how the hell did he got himself into the death idiot husband's body, then?? Well, he is not there because he wanted to. He was cursed by another demon. A demon-human hybrid who was jealous of him and wanted to take him out of the map. Our Dereck has an important role in the war, I think he was like the military general of his district? Spoiler: The Devildom The Devildom is divided by districts and each district (categorized in number according to their strength) has a general in charge. The one above them is the King (or emperor, I don't remember well). They are currently at a war that has being going on for a looong time. But it's close to ending soon. Whoever defeats the King and his forces can reign as a new king and have their district as a new capital. Hannibal, the one who cursed him, was a demon -human hybrid who tried to prove his strength by working really hard. In the Devildom, hybrids are made fun of, but our Dereck saw his potential and made him his second in command, but that brainless peanut didn't appreciate that and instead had an inferiority complex and was crazy jealous of Dereck. So he betrayed him. He decided to curse him and put him into the body of a man hated by his wife, so the possibility of doing the deeds were low. This was the main reason. I think he had more reasons, but I don't remember, sorry guys ahdjas. Hannibal wants to be king and lead Dereck's district in order to do that, if I'm not wrong. Also, guys.. Spoiler: Original husband's death He was murdered, you all! Sickness my socks. He was part of the plot Hannibal was planning with someone else. They needed his body, so they cursed him and tied his soul. (Or something like that ahdjand) So, his bad karma made him collateral damage, lol xD Lastly Spoiler: The plot Basically the whole story focuses on the mystery of how was Dereck cursed and who was the human who cooperated with Hannibal? (Because, even though Hannibal hates humans, again: his inferiority complex, he needed one for his plans). There was a human allied with Hannibal going on around them and they needed to find out who or Judith may be in danger. Who to trust? Who to trust???
