Coz we want the killer dad to turn into doting dad. And tbh the story is 'real' life, the otome game is 'reel' life in the 'real' life. I personally love these kind of doting dads novels coz it's just too cute. I don't get hung up on why some 'reel' character decides to make an otome game with a dad programmed to kill his daughter and then some 'real' person goes into that otome game world.
Wlouldnt it he more jucky if the MC pretends to be a loving daughter then stabs him In the end? Real talk?? Well its cause theses shitty fathers hit to close too home for alot of people
And I am sure those folks will happily avoid these books. I personally love this theme and uh that's it. I am not forcing anybody else to read it. Just giving the reason why I like it. A rec - The villain is happy everyday being a father . This novel has a 3 year old transmigrating to various worlds to prevent the designated villain from being a villain. Plus point is that none of the villains are her real dads and they literally have no previous connection. MC just goes in as an unrelated third party, catches the villain, starts calling him dad and cue cute father-daughter shenanigans
