    I normally wouldn't make an announcement about a novel being removed from NU but since there's a lot of drama and questions surrounding the novel, I've decided to let everyone know that The Empyrean Overlord has been removed.

    I contacted the Translator in question and he provided 'proof'. Basically, I was told the raws provided were English MTL'd into Chinese.

    There is more to it but that's all I'll reveal as the public doesn't need to know everything.

    There is also a slight change when adding novels to NU.

    Ok thanks for clearing that up. I respect your decision. Maybe offer the "translator/author" the opportunity to put it in the original compositions section if he/she so desires.

    I am surprised that empyrean overlord is an original; writing is typical chinese fantasy but only the pacing felt odd considering translated novels drag with 2000+ chapters being the norm

    I was only half surprised. The speedy beginning left me a bit perplexed... I mean, compared to other CNs, it was rushed to say the least... Even Dragon-Marked War God had a slower beginning...

    Uber sad. Its one of my favorites. But despite it all, I'll keep reading. Theres an explanation of sort on the translation website.

    I always felt a little weirded out by how it was said to have 50 chapters yet most of the chapters coming out were sponsored. But the sponsor/donation price was low @25 and only just recently upped to 50.

    So basically base on my understanding, this novel is originally English novel then translated to Chinese then translated again to english? My understanding is base on I read on some discussion!

    If Im wrong please can someone explain it more throughly.(n)

    AHAHAHAHAA, check the thread about the controversy, I called that shit. That was exactly what I said he was going to do lol.

    Basically, he made up the english novel on his own, and Mtl'd it into chinese then hand wrote it/scanned it as "proof" that it was originally chinese.

    Wait wait so it was actually a Original work? And its been really getting highly praised lately.. Looks like ill give up on that novel if its a Original.

    To think the "Translator" was actually the writer trying to falsified that it was a Chinese Novel... Dang it would had been more believable if he uploaded the story in a Chinese writing site then uploading it here but his Chinese writing apperantky sucks lol.

    Were can I learn more and how did he react when they found out? I wonder..

    tl;dr of drama
    author lied about translating it because famous novels in foreign languages are more valued than a random english novel. Dude called out author because the "novel" could not be found mentioned anywhere on the chinese web. Author is sketchy and provided "evidence" apprantly he was translating his chapters on a chat messenger so he could not post raws, but provided poor screen shots of tiny font Chinese which is proven to be english mtl'd into chinese.

    Seriously.... a big mountain made out of nothing....Would be so easy for him/her to create an account on a raw site and post chapters there and then post them as translations here so does it really matter that much? It's still a xianxia type novel....
