I do, however, not understand why there are no reprecussions for Rael, her attitude and lack of priorities and backbone could have cost a lot of people their lives. She should have been fired on the spot and maybe stripped of her certification or whatever it is that mages get in this world. But maybe there are not enough mages to begin with?
Probably mages are privileged. . . and the fact that she's the crown prince's girl and under his protection... Not worth getting fired by getting angry at a situation that's been solved and no one officially declared as "hurt". Okay, this is a somewhat big spoiler. Spoiler: The reason why Ishid ended up loving Junifer after she transmigrated So, the reason why Ishid fell in love with Junifer instead of Rael after the MC transmigrated is because the Transmigrated Junifer doesn't act like the OG Junifer. She caught Ishid's interest right after she was enrolled in the magic school, when she was struggling with her new powers as a water mage (Water mage constantly feels cold and because she is not the original owner, she found is terribly painful to withstand the cold and the mana. But after getting used to her power she can handle it pretty skillfully so it's all good). Ishid initally wanted to leave her alone a tree but when he passed by her, Junifer caught his hand and asked him to save her. Junifer was almost unconscious at the time so she didn't know that she had been talking to Ishid, the very person she needs to avoid. Ishid found her to be unusual because she asked to be "saved" by her real mom in the previous world (The words used held a distinctly different kind of urgency from the regular "save" or "help". The phrase Junifer used was kind of hinting that she felt like she was dying and Ishid relate to her feeling of wanting her life to be saved by her mother due to his childhood trauma. FYI, Ishid burned her mother's corpse to ashes when he was a child and couldn't control his fire power). Ishid knew who Junifer is because apparently, in Junifer's year there were only two water mages, herself and Rael the OG MC, and the one whose mother died when she was a small child is Junifer. Ishid concluded she is Junifer because he thought that the one who will desperately ask for her mother is the one whose mother had died for a long time. After he helped her, he left Junifer in her maid's care and began watching Junifer from afar for years. The rest is history where Ishid found Rael to be annoying because she kept on chasing Junifer to be her friend while Junifer doesn't seem to feel the same and he himself fell for Junifer deeper and deeper as the days go by. As for Cassian (the crown prince who killed Junifer in the OG novel), I still haven't reached the part where his backstory is revealed but as of now, there is a possibility that he cheated on Rael to protect her. My guess is, Cassian pretends that he doesn't love Rael sincerely because his father, the douche bag King who is kind of a tyrant, doesn't like seeing his son falling in love and having a weakness/ vulnerable, which is of course, the woman he loves. That's why every time Rael ask him why he cheated, he always says that it's because he loves her. And this is also the reason why the OG Cassian killed Junifer when she harassed Rael because of jealousy in the OG story. This "you're weak and will bring harm to the person you love" propaganda was also being taught to Ishid when he was a teenager by the King (he was the Grand Duke from a young age because his father committed suicide after losing his wife and thus was kinda being raised/ watched by the Royal Family), and it's also one of the reasons he chose to stay away from Junifer when they were together at the academy. Though as we can see, Ishid is able to break from this particular chain when Junifer "attacked" him and he finally allow himself to love Junifer more freely. I guess this is harder for Cassian since he had heard this for more than a hundred times form his own father while Ishid actually didn't really care for the King's words as much as Cassian because the King is not his real father after all. So that was it fellas, hope this gives you a clearer picture about the reason why Ishid ended up loving Junifer after she transmigrated (Did I just made a reference to The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up at Duke's Mansion? Yes.).
It had always seem so weird to me looking at cassian suddenly cheating on rael when he seems so nice in the flashbacks. So thats why. The kings words had made a great impact on the two boys. Maybe this time, cassian will be good and not be bad

In the recent chapter translated, there was a thing called mana purification? Why did yunifer felt uncomfortable and fainted??? Did Ishid hesitation affect how it works..? I understand the reason Cassian cheated now, but why an explanation to Rael so hard to do? I mean, if they discussed it privately, no one would get hurt and Cassian can stage a 'cheating' instead. The lack of communication oft be the reason drama and chaos happen in a story, but I never get tired to point it out hahaha
I don’t think she fainted though. Since from the next chapter for the raws, she went back up and looked pleasantly happy that she really enjoys it. And I agree haha. But I am still a huge fan of this manga. :’) In my opinion, I find Yunnifer and Ishid rather mature and *cough* the smut is good too especially in the next few chapters for the raws. *O*
Spoiler: Chapter 24 Chapter starts from Yunifer and her dad who's escorting her back to the house, her dad is stiff, saying "I probably didn't need to do this, huh (fetching her from outside)," but Yunifer is kind to him, saying she understands he worries about her as a father. Her father offers her the extra umbrella he brings, but Yunifer says it's easier to share one with him since it's a short walk. Okay, back to Ishid, our ML and his horniness. He walks back to his house without umbrella, greeted by his silver-haired butler, who quickly says he's preparing a bath right away. Ishid requests his butler to ready him simple clothes too, while the butler goes "? what kind of simple clothes you mean?" Here we have Ishid submerging in the ice large bath, and he ofc starts thinking about Yunifer and if she's also in bath, and also that she hasn't light on her fireplace. He thinks of not minding becoming her servant to be able to personally bathe her (LMAO ISHID DAWG) but then gets angry because male servant can't do that! He'd kill the servant if that kind of servant existed at Yunifer's side! Then he proceeds to rationalize that it's different for him bc he's Yunifer's boyfriend, then his mind goes perverted, picturing him bringing her to a bath and he angrily calls himself "You damned perverted/horny dog" LOL LOL !!! Ishid notices Yunifer finally lights up the fire on her room, he leaves the bath, inspects the pyjama his butler prepares for him. He tells the butler, it's not what he had in mind but it's okay. The butler notices his good mood. Right away, Ishid drinks a whole bottle of concoction and teleports. The butler sees later it's a contraceptive potion LOL I can't get over how much I like Yunifer and Ishid so far, she's just there trying to teach ML how a healthy relationship works while not noticing her growing absolute bias to him LOL and that she tries to be a kind daughter to her 'new' dad too
Ishid is out there raising the bar by taking initiative and taking the novel version of plan b while we out here having to use condom #respect #keepslayingKING
