wait so roland becomes a god? but aren't god immortal? i am aware that he turns his judge persona into a god from the spoiler thread so does that mean that he splits himself up like leylin?
also he reincarnates into a human but keeps his memories? i read in the spoiler thread that he also goes to hell at the end but is let out, does that mean that he achieved immortality in a sense?

also is there any form of immortality besides godhood? since the novel states that semigod can become more powerful than gods

 

he didn't become a god; only the wumianzhe persona that became a god.
forgot how he cheated; something to do with the roland sword iirc.
this judge "persona" actually lack personality; kind of like the god of light -- purely impartial.
roland believes that if he ever crosses the line wumianzhe would also judge him guilty.

he went to the river styx and ayer (the god of death) actually gave him blood of angel and demon, so he was reborn as angel/demon hybrid.

don't think so.
adam, margareth and roland (the lich) live for hundreds of years - but they are not immortal.
yes, semigod can be more powerful than god but power doesn't translate to immortality.
between a stronger being with only one life and a weaker one with the ability to respawn, which one is "stronger"?
ps: so far 3 gods have been killed; not so immortal?

 

immortal just means that he won't die of old age, doesn't mean that he's invulnerable so immortals can still be killed.
so i guess theres no true immortality in the novel at all besides gods but they lose themselves eventually...
even angels and devils die of old age...hmm

 

I suggest you keep reading the novel... it’s really well written. Don’t read the spoilers or ask for it cuz it’ll reduce the fun of discovering what happens next. As of now, nobody important has died..

 

Hope at some point Wumianzhe reveals that he is Yongje .

everyone pretty much knows he is because he is on the disaster list and couple other ones

 

But until know, there wasn't somebody who managed to become a god and still stay as a "mortal" on the normal plane of existance.
Also Wumianzhe became a "system" god, aka "no free will".
He normally would enforce his rules etc.
But Roland can control him.

 

Yea misread what you wrote. I personally don’t think that any godly being in a righteous faction would revale that they tried to turn the world into a undead paradise and wiped out millions? Of mortals

 

iirc roland has no control per se.
he has pre-empted by planting some ideas before ascension, but don't think he can arbitrarily instruct wumianzhe to do his bidding.

he believed that even wumianzhe would punsih him if he goes to far.
that should show their hierarchical relation.

 

Chapter 247 is one of the main problem for this novel, filler !! Were the fuck does this come from ? And who care about a distorted play who use the same joke since the beginning of the novel.

 

Still the filler feels like the transition between two story arcs. We are all setting up for the Bardi empire and the undead calamity now...

 

okay so this was a pretty damn important chapter.
1. roland's OP undead cost him parts of his soul which helps to explain the view that reincarnating kid saw.
2. the 2nd life he had a girlfriend and the Lust deadly sin means he can't feel or fall in love.
though these are treatable which is a silver lining.
3. semigod is more a title then an actual power rank

 

I want to know the second life's story nooooooowwwww

 

i assume it'll have some twists first before we learn everything.

Honestly after all these filler chapters... this chapter was like a minor storm. Now I am interested a lot in the second lifetime...
I think we know everything about the 4th and 1st one. Somewhat about the 3rd. Very little about the 2nd lifetime... so he had a gf huh.

I somehow managed to dodge a heavy spoiler all thanks to my lagging phone

 

I read the spoilers for this novel and I must say that it really deserves an anime adaptation. Somehow the storyline gave me an avatar feeling dunno why. The world building reminded me of it a bit but way more complex.

 

And finally one of the chapters which was mentioned in the spoiler thread got released. Very satisfactory.

This has been a big question on me while reading the ch 257-258 (the talk between harloys and elisa)
Is about seven deadly sins.
1st is lust which is who? (my guest is the system)
2nd is wrath = bastian
3rd is pride = omar
4th is gluttony = ah dang
5th is greed = harloys
6th is envy = marsolit/borealis
7th is sloth which is hasn't created?
And the big problem is if Roland create the sloth, thats going to be the end of his soul? since normally person will have the sense of self is by through the 7 sins.
