Hello Hello. Today I will be your host. The First Great Internovel Tournament is upon us. Now I will present to you, the competitors for the first round!

Each Hero has a 'Shadow' which is another character from the same series' who has a great impact on them. These shadows will also showcase their skills, but later in the 'Twilight Round.'
NOTE: Even though I wrote VS, they might not necessarily end up battling during the tournament!! Some images are from official sources while others are placeholders.

If you do not recognize the character or novel, choose OBSERVE. You are this characters lovely audience. (+1 Fame)
If you have read more than 10 chapters of the novel and just couldn't get into it, choose WALK AWAY. (-1 Fame)
If you are an avid fan of this character, choose DEFEND and please list a quality you like about this character. (+5)
If you are an avid hater of this character, choose ATTACK and please list a major character demerit. (-3)
Round one using the round one scorecard (wow) STARTING NOW. Please don't grade the 'Shadows' on their 'Performances' yet.
Round one will end in 24 hrs. Then I will Post STOP and start tallying the scores. This is also when round two starts! Based on their performance, each character will be assigned a seed number for the tournament portion.
This first round is a showcase where each character is individually performing on behalf of their novel. Hopefully, everyone has fun and gets a chance to learn about more novels.

Third Round Rules [TOURNEY BRACKET]
(Tentative and open to suggestion)
There will be twenty total duels; However, most will occur simultaneously (1-5//6-13//14-17//18-19//20) making this the shortest round. If you need to, you can schedule your answers/bets ahead of time as soon as the seeds are determined. I will wait a while before starting the third round to account for various schedules. Of the five dueling phases, the first will last an hour. The second, three hours. The third and fourth, two. The final will also be an hour.

Unless I change my mind, you (the players) will post which person should win and with what move. The winner would be the one with the most supporters.

EDIT: Everything should now be fixed to work with any theme!!

@Star Collapse , The Participants List has links to the novels. I had that reaction too at first (since I gathered the names on my profile from others) haha. In this case, you would choose observe.

 

I've been looking at this for about ten minutes and I'm still confused.

Well, in short...

1. Look at a character.
2. Do you know them? If not, bold OBSERVE.
3. Did you read about them and then gave up on the novel? If you did, bold WALK AWAY.
4. Did you like the character? If you did, bold DEFEND and provide a quick reason why.
5. Did you dislike the character? If you did, bold ATTACK and provide a quick reason why.

(Observe = N/A, Walk Away = Don't Care, Defend = Like, Attack = Dislike.)
(You can just pick one of these and type it beside the character if you don't like the scorecard.)
