The ending was funny, Luo Li (how does one pronounce the first part??) is about to go on the warpath. Though the Nine Nether (what a dumbass name!) is a heavy weight of her own, having them duke it out and then become BFFs would be pretty interesting. Luo Li needs strong friends, and the girls compliment each other, Nine Nether's fiery and wild while Luo LI is calm and serene (and both are lethal). I wish TGR got updated more frequently. I dropped WDQK recently b/c of the shitty arc and BTTH's translation is just so awkward to read I have to skim every chapter. TGR been interesting all around for the most part and the translation is very good as well.
Don't forget that the bird (lol) straddled him when he was down. So the 'scent' should be quite prominent where Lou li hugged him.
Eh, I dont think anyone's mentioned it, but the whole competition is a really stupid idea. You pit the younger generation against their seniors and if they lose then they get nothing for no reason. What's the bloody point? You literally hold a competition where you basically screw your most promising juniors and essentially make them weaker, unless they are absurdly strong, And even then that absurdly strong group will crush proceeding groups. It simply makes no sense, unless the whole point is to preserve the spiritual light resource (in which case, why do they even let younger and weaker students even have access to it?) Regardless, the sheer stupidity is causing me to want to drop TGR.
I've started reading, and it took a while but I'm starting to like it more. That said, in the 170s, one of the worst type of characters appears. The "mysterious" character that butt into other people's lives with no reasoning and act as if the other was challenging them. It's like, "no bitch, you came to me and annoyed me." Just had to say that.
Lol left for almost a year and theres not even 100 new ch I feel like after the Tra for BTTH is done with BTTH he should pick TGR and even if he does just 7 ch a week it will be a 100 times better lol Edit:well almost a year lol and we did get 100 ch but still takes 1 year fir 150ch? Thats slow and i know theres slower translations out there but on wuxiaworld i feel like everyone does at least 5-7 ch a week lol

Yeah, I stopped reading about 30 chapters ago and haven't been able to work up the motivation to catch back up.
