Yes, it is Zhang Shougui who deals the killing blow getting his revenge on An Yaluoshan. Though, Wang Chong whittled him down to one hp.
So does MC become the emperor or is it just a stupid blind loyalty to incompetent bloodlines kind of thing? If he doesn't become emperor then fuck the author for the name.
I mean at the moment, the fifth prince is the emperor. But after the final battle in the last few chapters of the novel (yes, this novel is finished), fifth prince does give his life up to save MC. MC then use that opportunity to kill the final boss and becomes the Emperor of Humanity (ie Human Emperor) to lead attacks on foreign races and then the novel ends.
Ok, so from what I've gathered, the Sage Emperor is like Wang Chong. When he was young he was an evil trashy young prince but then his body got over taken by a new soul belonging to the 'Sage Emperor' but after he tries to ascend and fails the old soul takes over his body from time to time and makes him look like he is getting incompetent in his old age. What I don't understand is will Wang Chong face the same problem? Does he run the risk of losing his body to the previous owner of his body?
