its different from the usual xianxia that we read. imo the best original xianxia that is cut and paste from everything we are reading is consuming earths, devouring earths. this one is a little slow at the start. the mc is not your typical xianxia mc. he's more like...one of us...just another person you can meet on the streets and relate to.. the novel starts off when the mc is reborn, so theres not really much fighting. it does leave you wanting more and if you give it a chance, you will like it. from the reviews, there are certain points where readers want more from it and drop it, because they've been reading too many xianxia where the mc is op and always makes the best decisions.... so yes, it is worth reading but again, its not your typical xianxia. one interesting thing about this novel is that there kinda are "ends" to each arc, so if you decide to drop it, you can just do so at these points. there are cliffs in the arcs and the chapters do end at really good moments if it is in the middle of an arc also the author has said that he is trying to end the volume within this year so it probably wont get dropped until then, since many people avoid reading originals because they often get dropped halfway
