Nara Lee, an ambitious and diligent 35 year old, has finally achieved her dream: buying a rooftop apartment! Little did she know she wouldn’t have time to enjoy it, as she ends up reincarnated as the 8-year-old Sharon Atrina, a side character in her favorite webnovel, “The Queen’s Extravagant Outing.” As Sharon, a wealthy and beautiful noblewoman, she has everything she could possibly want, but she’s destined to die a pitiful death at the age of 20 after being betrayed by her best friend, Carol — the villainess! Rather than waiting for death, she takes it upon herself to raise Carol — whose terrible personality resulted from bad parenting — into a better person, and save both of their lives to change their future! Korean name : 애들이 달라졌어요 It's cute . Instead of being obssessed by the original male lead the villainess and him dislike each other as their too simillar (at each meeting they bicker with each other and carol try to make him jealous because she have a Sharon. For the male lead for now i guess that it's the original male lead he seem to have a crush on her (or at least be interested) the problem is the parents they are scum (original body is an orphan with loving parents i don't know for OFL but OML and carol parents are garbage) The promo manwha in mangadex : https://mangadex.org/chapter/786184/2 https://www.novelupdates.com/series/the-kids-have-changed/
I like this one so much! Normally these stories have kids that are genius-level fully adult-minded prodigies or else generic angels, but Carol reads like a real kid to me. Does anyone know what the plot of the original novel is supposed to be? And what are the arcs of the actual story?
I just finished reading the translated chapters yesterday and I really love the story. I jumped in chapter 62 and 63 and I'm kinda happy to pick a nice chapter. Spoiler: 62-64 Julien was in the other country due to war with Haru. Julien was looking forward for Sharon's letter however he only received from Carol. He tossed Carol's letter and decided to write to Sharon. Sharon's birthday is soon and Julien wants to give her something. Sharon read Julien's letter and was quite embarrassed with what Julien wrote. It's like honey is dripping in Julien's words. Sharon was left wondering with what to do with Julien. After reading the letter, she also asked herself if Julien like her, especially with how affectionate the letter is. Then the next chapter revealed it was Haru who re-wrote the letter. lol. Haru saw Julien's initial letter and was shocked how unromantic Julien's letter is. Julien's was telling Haru he doesnt know what to say as he grew up with swords. Snippet: Julien's letter: sharon. I miss you. I miss the sweet cake I had with you, the touch you sometimes patted me, and I miss all the time I spent with you. If anything happens, let me know right away. Something happened to you and I'd be really sad if I didn't. Ah. It's your birthday soon, right?@ Sharon: The letters Yurhin sent out for my birthday were full of sweet words, which made me embarrassed. "What's wrong with him, really........." This is a foul. I'm trying hard, and I'm scrambling to erase the girl who's been knocking my heart out. You can't do this, Julien. "Do you really like me? (I
Spoiler: Ending Julien married Sharon. Carol married Haru. The last chapter of the main story is Carol's wedding and before that was a touching scene between Sharon and Carol unfolds. In their house, Carol was thanking Sharon for all the things she's done in her life. That it was all thanks to Sharon why Carol is happy. Sharon did a great job raising Carol and Julien hehe. I am looking forward how the romance unfolds in their lovelife. I will just be patient with the release of the translated chapters in NU. Spoiler: Side Story last Sharon, as the empress has twins. Bernhart and Ariel. Ariel looks like Sharon but quite dull. Carol's son Russel is inlove with Ariel and Madam deJoue said that if Russel will not confess, Ariel will never know his feelings. Carol is having fun seeing her heartbroken son. Ariel, having the ability to see future in her dreams, dreamed of their graduation in the academy with Russel confessing he loves Ariel and he wans to kiss her. Ariel woke up from the dream and cannot believe what he saw. Bernhart her brother asked her about the dream and Ariel told her that she cannot say it because it will prevent a certain someone to enter the palace anymore.
@GeeDy08 Did any of the abusive parents get their retributions? Especially Carol and Julien's mothers? How were the other capture targets and the original heroine?
Aaw I had a feeling Carol would end up with Haru. It was always been the four of them interacting. So it was logical that Carol be with Haru. Could you please talk about their romance or sweet moments. When did Haru or Carol realize they like each other?
Yay! I knew it Carol would end up with Haru and thank god they din't create a love triangle between Carol Julien And Sharon. It's the perfect ending for all four of them
What's Madame Dejoue's identity? How did Julien and Sharon get together? What happened to Carol and Julien's parents? What happened to the original Sharon?
Sorry, if I can't answer all your questions now. I haven't read the whole novel and I'm just MTLing random chapters. I randomly opened chapter 121 and it gives some hint about Madam de Joue's identity. Spoiler: 121-Madam de Joue Madam de Joue is a King Mercenary. She has secret with Count Atrina that she wanted to confess to Sharon (it was not stated in this chapter). Knowing this information, it has now made sense to Sharon how Madam de Joue put people inside the palace. Her loyalty is with Sharon.
Spoiler: 121 Sharon and Carol met a boy who looks like Sharon. The boy's name is Lake. He is the son of Count Atrina's brother abandoned and was adopted by the commoners. Lake seems like a good innocent child. When Sharon marries Julien, the Earldom of Atrina will be in waste so Madam de Joue is thinking of having Lake to be the next Count Atrina ,if Sharon approves of it. - The emperor said that he will make Julien as his successor when he dies. - Sharon has a nightmare where Julien diead and asked Madam de Joue to save Julien. The capable Madam de Joue assured that nothing will happen with Julien and Sharon appreciates that Madam de Joue didn't dismiss her concern as a mere dream.
I also want to read more fluffy scene of SharonXJulien. For now, these are the few moments I have read. Sorry, I haven't really read the novel at all but I will try to share some as I continue reading in Kakao. I'm also curious how Haru and Carol lovestory unfolds. It is such a cute scene when Carol whines at Haru when he picked her up. Spoiler: Carol's wedding Sharon POV "The wedding is scheduled to begin. Guests, please take your seats. Carol’s words pushed people out of the waiting room like a tide. It was me who stayed at the end. "You can do it. Don't fall. 'Cause you're the prettiest right now.' Carol nodded softly. Whining to Haru who came to pick him up. Listening to Carol’s voice, I went to the waiting room. It was Julien who was waiting for me. "Let's go sit down too.” Around Julien, he was surrounded by a group of people who escorted him. I grabbed Julien's hand. The news of the emperor's presence drew crowds of people who couldn't get out of the hall. I went to the front with Julien and sat down. "I missed you." An affectionate look in my eyes don’t want to leave Carol. My heart warmed when I saw Carol wearing a beautiful wedding dress and smiling more beautifully. Carol looked at me and said, "My heart was watering.’ I'm so happy.” Tears filled the glass of water and flooded it as if it were overflowing. It was Julien who wiped away my tears. I held onto my neat fingers wiping away tears and burst into tears. "Julien, ·········” “Why are you crying?” Julien burst out with a small laugh. "Are you happy too?" Even when I heard it, it was a trembling voice. Julien, who was looking at me, kissed me on my lips. It was hot like a burning candle. I took a breath in my fallen lips. 'I couldn't help it,' burst into tears at the whisper. It was finally the ending I wanted. Really, it was just a groundless confidence. I raised Carol right. She's happy, as long as she can say.
