I never read the prequel but it focused mainly on Ye Xiu and Su Muqiu dominating Glory they run into Huang Shaotian killstealing people for fun and other stuff
The people’s reaction was great. All of a sudden there were thousands of people trying to level up their unspecialized characters. Some were dug up from ancient history like the one from team tiny herb. The thing is that none of them had a transforming weapon so it was useless. The merchandising company’s reaction was even funnier. They were pissed off beyond all belief.His weapon was the number one most popular weapon of all time so people wanted to buy souvenirs, toys etc. etc. of the thousand chance umbrella but the problem is that it’s ridiculously hard to re-create something like that in real life. They were complaining that he causes trouble wherever he goes even if he doesn’t mean to.

A lot of online companies must have entered extensive research on how to make an umbrella like that in game. I’m sure someone might succeed, eventually. Does Su Mechung’s relationship with Mo Fan get developed further?? She’s the one who seems to get along with him “best” so I’m wondering if more gets explored on that. I might be wrong, but it kinda looks to me like she sees him as a younger brother of sorts.
QQ? I don’t think there are any more of those but Ye Xiu does give his Twitter virginity to someone. He made his very first Twitter post and everybody was shitting bricks like crazy because he actually posted for the first time. They don’t say whether or not anybody succeeded but I would imagine so. Butterfly Blue completely failed at any kind of depth to any characters relationships to others in this novel. There’s basically no elaboration whatsoever on any relationship. Ye Xiu has a twin? Here’s five chapters about his twin and then you’ll never see him again for the rest of the novel. SMC’s brother died? Here’s a grave visit once every 500 chapters. Tang Rou is super rich? Here’s to it being completely irrelevant for the rest of the novel. Well it was used for comedic effect when Wei Chen thought her father might order an assassination of a certain reporter who trashed talked Tang Rou
He gets mentioned again but it’s only as like two or three sentences. At that point in time, he’s just a fanboy in the audience reminiscing about the times he got owned by Lord Grim

It was a slow and gradual process that was pretty obvious to everybody. They didn’t just suddenly make it out of nowhere.
