I love the fact that although the MC is OP, his friends are equally OP so far...and that not the MC but Man Man is seen as the monster...XD

 

coupled with her innocence....."How did you know my papa calls me crazy little girl" or when she sees the mc she tosses her hammers for him to catch them. Have to say that scene were JH is confronting those Southland guys [had to have a sinister face] and then he hears Man Man calling his name.....you know all color must have drained from his face with a [Oh SHIT] thought going through his head

 

When i looked in my drive and saw that 3 chapters later Man Man would return...I forced myself to edit till I reached that chpater for the day...Hopefully more people consider giving the novel a chance...the story improves with each arc...

 

this series doesn't seem to carry most of the xianxia stereotypes. Like that Xue girl, most time she would either become the MC's lover after a few fights or stay the enemy but will disappear for a bit and become either the late or end game boss.....nope she dies. Or that Bitch, normally it would be the dad [even tho he had to kill his own son] that would be the one to want the mc died.....nope its the mom who is attacking with a vengeance. Or the MC is uber powerful but he still gets his ass handed to him on more than one occasion

 

You are right. Also I think because there is so little explanation at first ...the events first happen, magic spells are first used...later you get explanation....sigh

 

I do love the contradiction tho. they keep saying "mankind is strong we don't need the blood of [gods, beast, etc] but the mc keeps strengthen the bloodline of the golden crow within while saying "humans are the strongest!"

 

Have you read the chapter where he became Senior Magus?

Well all humans (as far as i know) have inherited bloodlines of animals etc...is sth like genes....but he pulled out the restrictions that the bloodline gave..and kept the awesome abilities (like wings and gold pupils)...

 

did I miss it or was it not said who killed the uncle and his father-in-law?

 

So far no confirmation...my assumption was that the 7th price ordered so..but your guess is as good as mine...I am hoping that there will be an arc where we meet the 7 th prince again and he says it. Some authors think that the readers are dumb so they over explain...this one consideres us highly intelligent...he mentions stuff in the beginning and explains 100 ch later....

 

its possible I mean the 7th prince did have that internal monologue where he says the Crown Prince is weak and he didn't feel any pain in that attack

 

We havent seen the last of the Zhu Rong family, take it from me...

It's great but on the author side it seems that after advancing to senior magus ji hao somehow got weaker unless the 2 princes are magus kings or half step magus kings

 

I greatly appreciate the 3 chapter releases. As for Prince Xu, I think that there has to be some repercussions, either from the many Magi Palace elders who favor Ji Hao or from the Fire God because Man Man is also one of those he accused of running from beasts.
