As for the cloud flare error, it's only on the new chapter, had it open in another tab, and when I went back to it, the resync returned a timeout error, but it let me read the previous part, so I realized I had missed one before... don't know how to feel about this....
The author is making Ryouma reach the appropriate rank without worrying too much the people around him. I don't remember how he reached the point for going there so soon in the original. The monsters there were like rank C or B. Ryouma now is just D rank aventurer. For how they are pounding in Ryouma's head the importance of doing missions with a party, maybe the author will make Ryouma go to the forest with other people.
I just see him going with a party as a huge negative, if he gets anywhere near as much stuff as he did from last time, its only going to cause a huge amount of strife that his party wants some of his "Inheritance". Oh well i guess well have to wait and see
Ryouma is 10 years old and Reinhart has already known him for a year now. Assuming the local common sense, why is "revealing your history" even necessary for him? If a kid was able to learn all that Ryouma had already demonstrated from someone else, who cares who taught him? As long as Ryouma is applying his knowledge and skill for the benefit of the dukedom, who cares? Yeah, I know Reinhart doesn't care, but even if it were outsiders, would anyone really think Ryouma could have stolen all of his out of the box and sooooo out of left field knowledge? Would a typical forest orphan even be able to comprehend such stuff? What? Like a forest hermit would come into the city looking to cause troubles?
Actually if it's the level of knowledge Ryouma has compared to everyone else, it does raise the question of how he got so smart. However, the key fact that pretty much answers how he got the knowledge in this setting Ryouma was provided hasn't been translated yet. I like the scenario they gave to answer it because it makes the most logical sense story wise, and also I think it's a very well built up key fact for this lead up. Won't spoil it, so that others can either read ahead or wait for that chapter.
v3c185-2: Why do writers force their characters to speak "mysteriously"? Aren't they already talking privately in a room? Why doesn't he just name what he's talking about? What is the need for code words?
even if it's a spoiler, someone can give a list of slimes of the original novel and this one, to prepare me mentally for the magnificence of the slime.
that is a bit hard, in the original he build a research institute to find new slimes and there usage. they even had something like a wax slime. on the other side the carbon slime was never mentiond
Wonder how long its going to be until the girls come to visit him? I remember that was pretty interesting in the previous one.
I am on the edge of my seat because the MC is going to negotiate with a chicken about livestock raising egg laying rights. This story is off the rails.
