Actually Hajin helped England on several occasions, got Yeonha to invest in England's guild and even made his super duper secret base in England. My interpretation is that the reason he didn't help England even more was because he was setting up Evandel to be the super magical girl that saves England. As for the ending, putting aside what the readers wanted or didn't want, it was just a poorly crafted ending. The author had most of the pieces in place to make several different solid endings, but the author apparently doesn't know how to craft an ending. I mean even the shitty ending if he decides to go home and fuck the world totally would have been better crafted than what the author ended with and that's coming from someone that was fully rooting for the Boss ship.

I'm grateful for the translators and it was a really good ride in the beginning but I don't think i can call this my favorite.. It's just the inconsistencies are too big to enjoy it anymore. Though I'm glad it finally ended... But also sad how all of this turned out. MC never truly behaved like a proper "Extra" just a invisible existence.

Wish I knew. The novel is released on munpia and joara and you can't buy chapters (0.08$ each) there without an account with a Korean phone number, therefore I can't even buy them and read the MTL'd version. I think I'll just commission someone to read them and give a summary once they all are out.
Wuxiaworld has a policy now that after x number of days when a novel is complete it goes behind a paywall so that the foreign authors/publishers can actually earn money. So the novel is still on wuxiaworld, but you have to pay to read it now.
Problem with the ending is that the story dropped like a bunch of plot points that seemed to be building up something bigger and it just deflated into minor things.
