Chapter 316 - 318 summary Nayun's talking with her mother then after a talk with the heroes decides to meet up with her family in the virtual reality. Scene swap to Hajin/young Boss and he'd been taking care of her for 3 days now, where he asks if the flower that he's looking at, the evening primrose, is her favorite flower. Some other conversations they have such as her favorite food, which is dumplings, and just general interaction. They are then just about to log out, to which Hajin tells he sleeping boss that he'll see her tomorrow before being logged out. Once he's out, he calls boss and tells her to wait where she is as he's going to meet her. He bought her favorite flower and went to meet her and gave her the flowers, saying it's a gift. He then hugged her and told her he missed her. Final scene of 316 is just Sahyuk and Bell repeating that she has to kill him for the 80th time, but Sahyuk is putting more thought into the ending she wants. Hajin starts to prepare for the demon world transformation, as most of the world not Korea will be destroyed by it, and starts to devise plans for an underground city and ways to undo the transformation, and he consults Horner (Tower ship captain) regarding these things. He then has a talk with Yeonha as she has plans to do something about the assassins that targeted Hajin and are now being held prisoner by the troupe, to which Hajin agrees. Boss doesn't like this as they tried to kill him and she doesn't want to risk just giving them away, but Hajin just reached out and grabbed her hand to go eat her favorite food. Scene swap to the temple of justice where Aileen and the judges that'll determine which 200 people are entering the gate are discussing about it. Heinckes/Yeonha are also there, and the Yeonha offers Heinckes a healing food that'll help with his side effects that were given to her by Hajin. They then start talking about which people will enter the gate, and Yeonha show's a letter from Black Lotus that he wants to enter the gate. Scene swap to Hajin overseeing the gate just before the time comes before it's open, and Sahyuk shows up beside him. They talk about Bell dying in the gate and Baal being born which is the plan, and Hajin thinks that it's best that Baal doesn't show up on earth but in the gate so they can ideally deal with him without the earth getting hit with backlash. Hajin asked what she was going to do regarding Baal and her home world, to which she said that she won't hurt Hajin, and she'll take care of Bell, so he should just shut up. He then asks if she'd be willing to stay on Earth, to which she didn't answer. The gate then opened and forcefully pulled in the 200 most qualified people in the area, which included Hajin and Sahyuk, to their surprise. Hajin wakes up in a place where he's dizzy and feels as if he's floating, after some struggles manages to see that he's in a bed in a prison like place. It seem's as if he's in a house of some sorts, and sees an identification hanging on the drawer. He checks it and see's that he's an F-class shooter, and it displays his name. He then sees a crossbow and ammunition, and gets a message in front of him. It essentially tells him that he's part of the world as a helper and that his abilities are temporarily sealed, but will recover over time. (Tower 2.0?) He panics and checks where he hides his gun, inside Stigma. His gun isn't there and neither is aether, and as he's panicking he hears a call for meal time. The diner in the military like area is segregated into separate ranks, and as Hajin if F rank, he gets yelled at for trying to go to a D-rank table. Hajin then makes his way to the library of the area and looks for the history of what's going on. He makes a list of goals to go for, which include regaining his powers, finding Bell and killing Baal, finding his weapons as the god killer bullet is necessary for killing Baal. He is then beat up by a knight as he's not supposed to be intruding into a library and is knocked out. Chapter ends with a couple of knights of the institution talking about the F rank Hajin breaking into the library.
That's it, I'm out. It's the Tower of Wish all over again with demons as a bonus. So Nope, not gonna read it anymore.
I still think it's far superior in comparison to the millionth generic chinese cultivation novel or the vast majority of other novels. Most people's disappointment comes from the fact that the quality dropped from the cube arc, but this is pretty common for nearly all novels in my opinion. Second coming of avarice is a good example of a novel people compare The Novel's Extra to. It has less than 90 chapters and people are comparing it to TNE that has over 300 when it comes to quality, and that just doesn't work because TNE was also as good when it had 90 chapters. Of course, as someone that fell in love with the novel, it is disappointing to see the author in such a slump.
The first half of Tower of wish was ok, even good some moments. It went downhill because the Author didn't take the time anymore and rushed. Yes I said "Rushed" despite Tower Arc being so damn long(I'm not even gonna talk about orden's arc). So what do I mean by rushed ? Well the story take priority over everything else. The world building, the relationship between characters are now in the back. At the begining until the Ellipse ( so about hundred something + chapters ) it was well balanced. Post ellipse we barely see Rachelif at all, Nayun is not even relevant anymore. Only Yeonha is but not in a good way. Heck even Evandel who was Hajin solace and supposed to be Humanity savior or something pops her little blonde head one every 30 chapters. And if Author didn't pull out of his ass(because that's what it is) uninterresting sub-plot ( Hello Sahyuk's arc) and destroying bit by bit everything he started with, with this new dumb content, the novel will not have become the shit it is today. Only suho and Yeonha are relevant now, and we don't even see Suho that much. The camelon troop ? with the omni present Jaine ? We don't even see her/them anymore and its THEIR arc right now ! Not that it mattered since we don't even know half the member of CT. A dozen people compose the most nefarious organization of the dark side of the world and we only see 3. Khalifa is just here to play taxi. Droon ? The fuck he does ? Kaita ? Didn't see him since tower arc and he's not even relevant despite being pretty much involve in this new arc. The rest ? The fuck are they ? Why should I care about this CT's arc now ? Because of boss ? If it were pre- ellipse, we would have know every single member and at least half of them would have have a min-arc. The worst is the pace ! One chapter contain at least 3 sub-plots. End of tower of arc we had. Hajin's side, Suho's side. Boss' side, and Yeonha& Nayun 's side. In one single chapter. And it went on and on for like 30 chapters or so. That's bad writting. Author only knows one thing : create a misunderstanding, make it bigger and bigger, create another another understanding and this one too make it bigger and bigger. Then pop 100 chapter later with a bazillion sub-plot, the first misunderstanding is "resolved". There are lot of loose ends, that could have been easily be not. I'm both mad and sad that such a novel who not only started but go on being an excellent novel became such trash.
To me, the novel’s current state is even worse than Monster who levels up, the thing that I had hoped it wouldn’t become. Well, to make a metaphor, it’s like the author present you with a very tasty looking cake! I know it’s tasty because it tasted it back then, it was one of the best I have ever had! But then when I get near to take a piece, the dude just straight up uppercut me in the jaw, and then he shove the whole cake in my face, some of the frosting got into my mouth and I realize it doesn’t taste half bad! But later I realize it is not half bad cuz the frosting has already gone way past it’s expiration date, it’s whole bad.
What I want to see happen is for author to say he is going on hiatus, temporarily close his social media, and go on an actual vacation to clear his head. Heck, maybe he can still fix the darn story after all that. I wouldn't mind a rewrite from after the Fenrir vs Lotus battle
The problem is that you're trying to absorb the character interactions and world building through summaries. The quality is more or less the same, its just that Hajin isn't plowing through the story as if it was a second-life story back when they were in Cube. If you summarized the first 100 chapters, you would probably feel the same way. Suho has a lot more screen time now compared to Cube. I don't even know what misunderstandings that you keep rambling on about.
yeah... but at least for the first 100 chapters, each arc have a simple yet sturdy narrative! And sticked with it! I just can't keep up with half the stuff the author is throwing at us and then left aside any more! The perspective-changing at first was made so that we can see a problem from many angle, but now it just cut the flow of the story whenever it's the worst time possible to tell us about side-plot!
A bad writter stick to his gimmick. Do it again and again and again and then repeat. A good one changes his method. It s like in GoT. Writers are so focused on surprising and subvert the fans that they writte so many ridiculous things than most of the time don t make sense for it.
I need another site for raws, finally got 318 and 319 today. Its not tower 2.0,its more like Akatrina 2.0. He just has his stats lowered as a side effect of crossing dimensions. It'll take him roughly 2-3 months to completely recover if all he did was just work out. The leader of the knights gives him a secret mission to escort Harin over a mountain range to a southern state. She probably related to Bell because her family was destroyed over a prophecy stating that a male heir will become a devil and destroy the world. The chapter ends with Harin despairing over the fact that Hajin is F rank and that its pretty much a given that F ranks will just be cannon fodder when crossing the mountain range. PS They have to share one horse.

As for my summaries, I'll do them once I see a chapter interesting enough to summarize, and as of now they're pretty boring.
