I've enjoyed Sinister ex-girlfriend tremendously, though it did get a bit repetitive after a while.
I felt betrayed by an mtl story that was yuribait and I still feel angry

Hmm this is tough, last year would have to be Lord of The Mysteries. This year is a struggle between Cultivation Chat Group and SSS-class suicide hunter. I guess CCG gets my token vote.

As for worst, can't say as I have dropped plenty to even count which is the most displeasing.

I tried Yuri genre this year and was disappointed with all the "body description" and substituting mc with fmc and fl with ml .
Then some boring Transmigration and marrying oriml bro or uncle after rape and how "soft" mcs are .

Trash Of The Count's Family my all-time best, I don't have any novels that I dislike (at the moment) but i would say the ones I read less were The Beginning After The End and Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint (bc I'm afraid of what may happen to my faves :notlikeblob:)

This year specifically, the best one would be "I became a god in a horror game" and "The big landlord" and the worst, well in my opinion none of the novels that I have read so far was bad, all of them were unique and amazing in their own way and I could never slander them.
