It could either be that the husband can play the harp and will perform for the princess or the princess and husband likes to listen to the song Li Chang Le is performing and it would remind the princess of the time when her husband was still alive
Comparing the princes, someone really need a spoiler to know who is going to be the emperor this time?
There is one. Not sure on nuf or somewhere else. You can get complete spoilers in detail here. http://www.books.shushengbar.com/?p=6696
Spoiler According to the spoiler....he's got his heart broken into pieces because Wei Yang (maybe accidentally or not) make him witness Le Changle doing snu snu with Tuoba Zhen. Edit: Sorry, I just realize this is LCD's thread. At first I think this the spoiler thread of Princess Wei Yang
Wei Yang: ~ understand your enemy well enough to defeat him ~ Tuoba Zhen: ~this is the beginning of your bad day
OMG. The revelation of this chapter hit me like a ton of bricks. I always wondered if that bastard of a former husband ever actually loved or appreciated her. In this chapter I got my answer. It was a resounding NO. argument 1: Touba Zhen is a "wanter." The type of person who loves pursuing things and it has to be constant which in a twisted way would make him a decent king if the circumstances aligned. He plots, prays, and schemes all the time to get the things that he wants. Whether its position, wealth, and allies. This is the most exemplary in his marriages. In the first marriage with Wei Yang it was mentioned that she constantly had to earn his trust and respect. She came too easily to him and fell in love with him easily. That Wei Yang he throws away like trash and treats the beautiful unattainable sister like gold. Spoiler: bitch sister's side story but part of argument Then, he married the once attainable sister - played with her, then promptly got bored with her and went back to wanting the Wei Yang that's now dead. To him it seemed like the perfect situation. He could be "faithful" to a memory in his head because there is no one around to make responsible for the consequences of emotional fall out. He could beautify their relationship and constantly chase the "shadow" of what was once was. A "wanter" is type that pursues and loves the act of the pursuit; but, once its in their hands they neither cherish it or remember why they thought it was so special in the first place. They're inherently selfish and always think they would get what they want which is sadly true for Tuoba Zhen. argument 2: ambition is everything to him even in the final moments we see of this guy Spoiler: the "endings" of tuoba zhen He never truly regrets what he has done in the past because getting what he wants is an all important imperative to him. In the main body of the sotry he never regrets killing off the 1st incarnation of Wei Yang and only regrets he didn't kill her off as a political opponent in the 1st place. (side note: this is why Wei Yang's punishment for him is not only appropriate but almost poetic stuck in constant yearning and helpless to so anything about it) In side story in the original life Wei Yang came from he regrets not killing off the son he had with Li Chang Le - since he eventually gets assassinated by him and unable to keep the throne. argument 3: He will never admit he was ever wrong - i provided a lot of evidence that's stated above to support this and don't feel the need to repeat myself
