I think part of it is when ML was growing up, his mom wasn't the best mom, and she kept pushing for revenge or something. ML temporarily forgot it because of MC's kindness, but after MC entered the sect, Sisi tossed ML into a lake, where as he was sinking, he thought to himself that he needed to get stronger. (blackening ) I haven't gone any further than the 11th chapter, but that's the beginning of yandere ML

 

Why was he a servant in first place?
So his cultivation soared after the lake incident or was he just hiding it?

 

Still have the mental image of a chicken getting done by a lizards 2 tintins

 

Never knew so many people were interested in this story

What did mc father realize?

 

He realized his son was not a waste, but his wife was too scheming and caused him to lose his son's respect or something. I'm just guessing. The text didn't say anything literally, just that he seemed enlightened and had an ugly expression when he hears his daughter, then he glares at the wife or something.

 

Did he ever punish the wife

 

Nah, he's a total waste who can't do anything right. He never changed his stance. Maybe he was a little resentful of his wife, but at this point, he doesn't care anymore.

 

That father is a good-for-nothing!! Cannot even be call a father since he cannot even protect his own kids. Maybe the original son had no blood relation with him?
