I would've gone an read the raws, but after 50-60 chapters they're locked vip. And I can't find another site that has all the chapters. So, I'm gonna leave this one alone for now. MC then tells his aide that he finds that the 7th ranked guy is actually not that great at all. Aide said he must've come through the backdoor (bribed/used relationships to get in). Aide then shows MC an invitation, the Evil Doctor is invited to look at one of Zhuang Hao's uncle's illness to see if they can cure it. MC goes because he's curious about the Zhuang Hao's so called peerless looks. He's shamelessly gay from his past life to this life. ch5-6: MC shows up as the Evil Doctor, tells Zhuang Hao (guess it's ML?) straight to his face that he's good looking this is the first thing he says to the ML haha~ “庄少，很荣幸见到你，果然盛名之下无虚士，庄少果然容色倾城，让人一看，便想揩油。” Master Zhuang, very happy to meet you, your reputation is really well deserved, Master Zhuang truly is a city-topping beauty, makes one want to take advantage." Turns out the Evil Doctor specializes in cosmetic surgery, he's performed surgery on a lot of people already, but his character is eccentric, and he always appears with his face covered up. Rumors are that he can perform surgery on others but not on himself (implying he's not good looking), and he works for money, but also selectively - if he's not willing, there's nothing one can do. At the end, back at the residence, MC and his aide are going through offers, someone is offering 5000 gold coins for double eyelids. still curious & will read more, but it's not as soul-sucking as i was hoping for.. edit// OKAY confirmed, Zhuang Hao is the ML, from ch15 he's already kinda hitting on MC (as the Evil Doctor) bahaha. he's sneaky but i like it ~

I tried to MTL a few chapters. Surprisingly, despite the story set in ancient setting, the mtl is still readable like flower reflecting the sky. The excellency zhi li on the other hand, i gave up. Any other bl novel that is easy to mtl?
