It seems the author isn't trying as hard to plot the battles well in this arc.

Not surprising, as I'm sure he's already aware that's not something he's good at. I'm hoping he does a better job wihen Lei confronts Malfoy.

He should stick to sexual harassment and ecchi. But given the inevitable battle scenes, he needs to get better at them.

Author tends to write confusing battle scenes, with not enough information for the readers to understand. Struck the ground to make a hole for the team to escape?

It would have been better if he had said that Lei struck the ground hard enough to blast a crater, spraying the other team with the dirt to block their vision, and Lei's team retreated to the crater, to use the piled up dirt on one side as emergency breastworks...

And then make a joke about "breastworks"...(too bad this joke would only work on English)

Lei: Good breastworks...though not as imposing as Alexis's breasts-sama...

 

Well, he materialized walls of water to surround the enemies and then struck a hole to retreat. I guess I wasn't able to translate that part properly (ﾉ≧ڡ≦)

 

How to deal with annoying rats...
