i read that the novel is ongoing, will it become BL later on? i dropped omniscient reader cus it was giving such weird vibes. i felt so creeped out reading the interactions between mc and the hero
he is already saying "i love you" to guys unless korean WN BL novels have a tag or something to let you know that it is BL from the author, why wouldn't it turn into BL halfway/at the end? reading the first few chapters....wow.. people say grid in overgeared has a bad character at the start, but this guy is a 100% bona fide asshole

It's 사랑한다 which is pretty manly, in case the people who read his post thinks the MC is girly shouting ILY to others. Of course, if you're gonna be anal about it and see ghey everywhere, what with the lack of female characters, interactions or attractions, hey there's other novels to read out there and there's other readers who will enjoy this who is not you ╮(╯▽╰)╭
Some of the current popular KR novels seems to have lots of queer bait elements. I guess authors know the rallying power of fujoshis. Being that the novel has game-elements and the usual second-chance/redemption trope with lots of action which is mostly targeted for boys, adding the queerbaits makes it attractive to other audiences too. So don't worry about it going BL suddenly, it's just the author's way of increasing target demographic through "fan service". Win-win for everybody unless you're someone sensitive to "bromance".
I mean there are hints about it so I wouldn't be surprised if there actually ends up being some BL in the future, so I would say read until it happens and then drop it if it does.
Yea I can agree with that, but well enjoy the ride until then, if it happens. Should still be fun, unless it just completely ruins how you feel about the story which, I could see happening to myself tbh
Nope, it probably won't be BL. I won't even be surprised if by the end of things/epilogue, suddenly MC is implied to be married with one of the female characters mentioned, out of nowhere, no romance and miniscule interactions what so ever, just to point out that even after the whole thing, this is not a BL novel. Like, the author slapping that to our face in the final chapter after wringing all our passion and love. That happened with one novel I read, so I'm not gonna be surprised.
It's not, however the MC's ability seems to make every person it affects see him similar to the person they most respected when growing up, causing most of them to become overprotective. (One guy has just had such a shitty life, that even a small show of kindness by the MC made him devolve intro tears.) Personally I don't see this going BL at all.

I like the premise of the story but the pacing seems really slow, or is focused on uninteresting situations. And the mc is a lil bit annoying with his thoughts and concerns, like staying unaffiliated or wanting to make $ and retire early. Way more interesting things could be focused on. Have a few more chapters before I catch up, hoping it improves. Edit: Wow something interesting happened, hopefully it doesn't revert.
