Alternate titles: 婚約を破棄された悪役令嬢は荒野に生きる。/ Kon'yaku o Haki sa Reta Akuyaku Reijou wa Kouya ni Ikiru

    Synopsis:
The Crown Prince Wilhelm suddenly announced the dissolvement of his betrothal to Constance (Connie), the daughter of a marquis. It seems like he had fallen in love with someone else... a saint who had appeared recently. Connie grew depressed at the cruel declaration, as she had spent the past two years acting as his consort. But one day, her memory returned, and she realized that she had been reincarnated as the villainess in a romance novel. "Whatever. I don't need a cheater (with the option to become a villainess). I'll live on as the leader of my land!" This is Connie's story of how she lives her life with strength in the borderlands far away from the capital city!

The knight seems to be the ML here. The ‘heroine’ is two faced, and may try to seduce the knight in the future. Anyone got any spoilers for what happens next?

This is the first part of the story
Spoiler: According to where the manga is at now, FL (Connie) and Issac (Knight) travel to the polluted land. FL figures out she is not affected by the miasma, but she isn't strong enough liked the saint to purify the land. FL remembers the plot of the story that when Sylvia (Saint) comes to purify the miasma, Issac get called into the Saint's room, and he hold her (I think this part mean he slept with the Saint), then Issac become a member of the Saint's harem. When Sylvia come, Issac's attitude changes as he keeps thinking about the Saint. FL worry that Issac would also leave her because of the force of this story. At the end of the first day the Saint purify the land, Sylvia ask Connie to call Issac to her room at night. FL still need the power of the Saint to help this land, so she has to give in to Sylvia's request (Sylvia does have power that can purify evil).
Before Issac leave to the room, FL hold his face and said Issac belong to her, he is her knight, he cannot leave her. As if breaking from the curse, Issac attitude change back to normal. He hold her hand and kiss as if she is his treasure. That night, FL stay awake and meet Issac came back drunk. He told her that he came into the room and met the Saint, the Prince, and also all the members of her harem. The room smell liked alcohol and aphrodisiac. The Prince ask him to hold Sylvia, but he declined (what are they trying to do with that many people lol). So the Prince force him to drink alcohol, he struggled and escaped. Issac asked why the FL looked worry and sad in the past few days. FL confessed she is afraid that Issac would leave her. Issac said he hasn't been himself since the Saint came, but FL want to keep him by her side, so he can escape the curse. Issac promise to stay by her side for the rest of his life (FL thinks that he promise that as a knight). After that day, something changes, one member of the Saint harem left according to his own will.
On the last day to purify the land, Sylvia want to go alone with the FL to the mountain which is the cause of the miasma. Sylvia told her that she can hear God. God told her that she is blessed with power, so with this power, from a poor girl, she can get everything she wants. Sylvia hates FL cause FL being born with everything. Also, this is the first time that Sylvia did not success in seduce Issac because Issac love FL. Everything went wrong since she met FL. Sylvia told her yesterday she heard God said to destroy her. FL existence need to be erased. Sylvia cause a avalanche to kill the FL.
FL was rescued by Issac. FL remember what Sylvia said about his love for her. Issac is a talented knight with great achievement. FL afraid that it is not due to love that he stay by her side but her dad force him to become her knight. Issac confessed that he love her since he was a child. He know she is his highness's fiance, so his dream is only to become her knight so he can stay by her side. FL understand that Issac promise to stay by her side for the rest of his life as a man, so FL also want him to stand by her as equally (might be husband) but not a knight that below her.
The Prince and Sylvia want compensation for the Saint was almost crushed by avalanche. Alois (FL's treasurer) said they are the one that need to be compensation. They sent a request to ask for help half a year ago. If the Saint came right away then the damage to the land and people would decrease. The Crown Prince neglect his responsibility, so Alois sent his request to the emperor. In the story, the Prince has nothing but his look and his marriage to FL house (powerful linage). He is not talented as his younger brother nor the emperor. As he break his marriage, his position as the Crown Prince is not solid, and now his personality become liked this. After this incident, he will get demoted as a normal prince or worst as a commoner.

Okay, so here's what I gathered from reading the raws.
The female lead, if you weren't already aware is Constance von Laffer. She's the daughter of a powerful marquis and very much loved by her father, she's also in love with her fiancé, the crown prince, Willhelm. And ugh, unfortunately, she's slept with him on multiple occasions. She even says he only calls her to his bedroom, implying he only like her for sex. Like the ultimate douche nozzle he is, prince trash face calls off their engagement claiming he never loved her and introduces his new lover, the saint of their empire, Slyvia. Here's the kicker, as a Saint she's not supposed to engage in sexual activities with others and the prince claims he has touched her like that, but we all know they totally have. As repayment for her broken engagement, she's given her own territory (Meldorf) to lead, along with a personal knight (Issac), while her father and supporters deal with how to pull the crown prince from power. Hilariously enough, the trash prince's only purpose was to provide royal heirs, nothing more. His own father didn't even trust that dumba** to even rule the nation.:ROFLMAO: Anyways with Connie's genius she's able to make her new territory flourish however, this all goes sideways when miasma starts entering the territory, with no real options, she's sends letters and envoys to the imperial capital pleading for Saint Sylvia to lend her support in purging the miasma. Unfortunately, she never gets an answer for MONTHS because the saint and her merry band of enthralled idiots have f**ked off to the Southern region to an imperial villa to basically be a bunch of nasty freaks.:sick:With no other choice, Connie and her men are forced to fend off the miasma until Slyvia and her entourage FINALLY show up, like a six whole @$$ months later. During this time Connie discovers she does have some purification powers of her own--minor, but a result of the novel diviating from her original path (I.e. she was supposed to go to Meldorf and suffer and die while Sl*tvia lived a better life). By the time that idiot Saint and everyone else shows up, Meldorf's lands are horribly decimated and 1/3rd of the population have died--not to mention as a result a rebellion is brewing from all the discontent from the populace. When she DOES finally get to work it takes her forever, mostly because she spent so much time screwing around (very much literally), her powers were significantly weaker. Near the final summit, the Saint revels that 'god' has told her that there was something not right about Connie--because when the trashy s*ut tried to seduce Issac he turned her down because his feelings for Connie were stronger--so in retaliation Slyvia tried to kill her by causing an avalanche. What neither of them counted on was Issac being there and reaching Connie. Connie was unconscious for 5 days and when she came to her and Issac had a heart to heart and it's discovered they both have feelings for each other and basically the whole castle knew and was wondering when they'd finally get together. When everything was said and done, the trash prince and saint tried to demand money for their services & Sl*tvia getting 'hurt' in the avalanche she caused, but Connie's advisor, Alois, flipped the script and not only demanded money from them, but also informed the emperor days prior about how their slow timing cost Meldorf and other neighboring territories so much. Naturally both are expelled from the kingdom and forced to return to the capital to face the consequences. When she inquires about what will happen to them, Alois mentions that the prince will likely be stripped of his title and Slyvia will be sent to a convent to reflect. Naturally that sequence of events does indeed happen, the former trash CP is stripped of his title and basically sent to the front lines to help stomp out a rebellion in the south where instead he takes an arrow to the head (believed to have been directed under the emperor himself) and Slyvia is immediately sent off to a convent full of women so she can't seduce or charm anyone and instead devote her life to God as she should have in the beginning. Instead Slyvia gets free and goes after Connie, revealing she no longer has the power of the Saint. During this boring monologue, she blames Connie for everything--for not playing her role, for not handing over Issac as intended, for taking away her 'good life' and forcing her into 'rags'--basically the little he*fer refused to take responsibility for her own actions. It doesn't take long for Connie to instantly realize that the Creator has basically stripped Slyvia of her title because she didn't even play her own role right. So ofc Sl*tvia tries to enact her final revenge by strangling Connie, but once again Issac steps in to save the day and Slyvia is arrested. Connie does kinda consider sending her back to the imperial captial to see what the emperor will do to Slyvia--kinda wished she did--but quickly figures that Slyvia must have a double posing as her, so instead has her secretly executed in Meldorf under the guise of being a 'madwoman attacking Meldorf's acting lord posing as the saint'. After that, the story basically just focused on the life between Issac and Connie--ngl, kinda dropped it after that. :blobsweat:

The main male lead is obviously Issac. The dark haired knight on the cover. He has mutual feelings for Connie and has had them for quite some time before they were even officially acquainted. During the time the saint was around in Meldorf, he was nearly seduced by her (mostly due to the compulsion from the novel world), but quickly regained himself when Connie begged him not to leave her just moments before he was to join Sl*tvia's midnight o*gy. They try to get him drunk to lower his inhabitions and sleep with the trash, but he's got higher standards and manages to break free (another man from her harem also manages to break free of the hold she has on his mind and returns home--smart lad). He later winds up marrying Connie a little after expelling both the Saint and the trash crown prince. The blond isn't the trashy crown prince, but his exceptional younger brother, the 2nd prince, Harold, who will eventually take the POS prince's place after the emperor strips him of his title. Apparently, he's the son of a concubine, while the trash prince is the empress's son. Hence why that trash Willhelm getting the position, instead of the far more competent younger brother. It is heavily implied that Harold was also attracted to our FL, but couldn't act on those feelings because she was his older brother's finacée. He even questioned what his brother was thinking choosing another woman, especially that trashy saint Slyvia, over the FL who he considered far superior in looks and talent.

So the little trashy h** is also a reincarnator who can hear the voice of 'God' (the novel's creator). Through this voice she thinks she's basically entitled to whatever she wants because she's a 'special existence', you know that annoying adage all those two-faced b**ches like to use. So with the help of fascination magic she seduces and sleeps with pretty much any handsome man she encounters--be they a person of interest or just some average joe she happens across in her travels. Especially during the time when the FL lead is practically begging her to save Meldorf. Unfortunately for her, and thankfully for us and the FL, Issac is the only one who won't succumb to her charms or magic because Isaac's love for Connie is stronger. This pisses Sl*tvia off who hears from 'God' that there's something not right with Connie and that she's 'ruining' her story. Of course, Sl*tvia figures the only way to right everything Connie 'broke' is to kill her, so that Issac and the other men the trashy wench couldn't seduce will be charmed by her without interference. This leads to Sl*tvia essentially leaving Connie to DIE during an avalanche that she causes:blobhero:. Of course that fails, because Issac saved Connie's life, so she decides to try and financially ruin Connie:blobangery:, and for a moment it almost appears to work, that is until Alois points out that technically THEY owe Meldorf quite a bit of money (I think it was ten times the amount of what the trash CP and Sl*tvia we're trying to charge) in return for not only taking forever to answer a simple summons that cost the lives of 1/3rd of Meldorf's population and ruined their lands, but taking forever just to purify the lands when she finally arrived:blobjoy::blobpopcorn:. But the lovely cherry atop the delicious sundae was when after being kicked out of Meldorf they had to face the emperor who stripped her lover of his position as CP and the saint was dragged to a convent to spend the remainder of her days.:p Unfortunately, this didnt' last very long, as Slyvia managed to break free by getting someone else to poise as her while she used magic (or the Creator used teleportation magic to get her there, idk, the raws were kinda confusing) to appear in Meldorf just as Connie, Issac, and the rest of Meldorf's knights were surveying the lands. Sl*tvia reveals that the 'God' of the world has basically stopped talking to her (it was her fault by the way, even Slyvia had a role to fulfill and she didn't even fulfill it right), but believes it's all Connie's fault that they stopped speaking to her because Connie didn't just die like she was supposed to--as all disgraced 'villainesses' are meant to in these stories. She then talks about how 'God' lead her here for a reason, that she has to get rid of Connie for everything to go back to normal--spoiler, it won't, Slyvia refuses to get it through her thick skull that she's basicallay ruined everything not dealing with the miasma faster as 'God' had intended her to, instead she as more focused on being decked out in luxurious goods and being loved by everyone as a 'special existence' (god, she makes me sick and according to the author, we weren't the only ones who found her annoying:blobxd:). To make a very long story short, she tries to kill Connie a 2ND TIME, but once again fails because Issac's the man, and she promises to get her revenge on Connie, yadda yadda, but Connie realizes that if the emperor hasn't been made aware of Slyvia's escape that means someone who appears to look like her is filling in her spot, so she has Slyvia executed as a 'fake saint trying to kill Meldorf's lord' :blobsweat_2: and that's the end of her.

Not really much to say about him, he was scum who just wanted to get his d*ck wet. Not even that long after he and the saint get together do the leave for the south to 'purify the lands' when in reality it's a months' long f**k fest with the saint and all her man-h*es. He thought he had all this authority and power when in reality his only role once he and Connie got married was to 'provide offspring for the royal family'. Dude was literally regaled to the wife's position, all his job was to get Connie pregnant and nothing more. It's been mentioned that even the emperor didn't want him to actually rule and in reality the trash prince wasn't really all that remarkable to begin with anyway--he had poor manners, only cared about himself, and even his smarts were subpar. Once his trashy @$$ was exposed for having an affair with the saint and leaving territories high and dry while on their little 'vacation' the king disowned him and made his younger brother the new crown prince. It's later revealed the trash prince is sent to the front lines to deal with a rebellion in the south, where he took an arrow to the head and died :D. It's implied that it was the emperor's doing (can we get more novel emperors doing this?). So that's basically his end, but in a chapter where Connie confronts Slyvia a part of her wonders how Willhelm felt upon finding out his father orchestrated his own murder, and yeah, I kinda wish we had a chapter that explained that, that would've been awesome.

So that's pretty much it. Ngl, like I mentioned before, I did drop it after the final volume because everything after that is just the fluffy extra chapters between the married couple. It's a really short read and I'm a little sad we didn't get a chapter detailing the trash prince's final moments before taking an arrow to the head. Other than that, it's a pretty okay novel--not really great in terms of decent storytelling and world building, but it's still a decently fun read. Now this summary is loosely based on rough mtls from the raws and based on spoilers from a commenter on another sight who basically confirms what I've been reading. If anyone else can better summarize, feel free to. :)

Edit: 12/30/2021 12:13pm- had to make a few tweaks to the summaries for each person in here to give better depth to their backgrounds.

Okay I'll stop reading this now. I can barely tolerate the ML (should have been Alois since he is at least somewhat better than Isaac) now, especially since Constance is the one who has to suffer and do everything while Sylvia gets everything she wants yet acts as if she's the one who's being hurt while others just go along with her claim. Ew.

Lmao, basically yeah. The 1st prince was basically hated by his own father for being a failure, but since he was the son of the rightful Empress he couldn't have him disowned without reason. His affair with Slyvia solved the issue of inheritance, and sending him to war, only to die on the front lines, permanently solved his 'living' arrangements. :blobjoy:

Ngl, I kinda hoped that Alois would be the ML too, or at least the 2nd ML, but let's not forget Slyvia had fascination magic. That OP charm magic that all reincarnated heriones get to basically all the men in the novel world fall in love with them basicallyat first sight. Hence why it appeared that Issac was close to almost falling in bed with Slyvia at her request. However, just like Connie's deviation from her story ending, Slyvia's deviation started to make the lesser love interests fall out of love with her, as one of the men in her harem ended up freeing himself from the magic and left—in shame, iirc. Which is also probably why Issac wasn't as charmed as he would've been. The OG!Slyvia was a pure and kind girl, who naturally made all the love interests fall for her over the course of the storyline. Reincarnated!Slyvia was a greedy harlot who rushed the storyline and only cared for a life of comfort instead of fulfilling her intended role. Which, had she—and all the other stupid heroines who deviate from their roles and take back door routes to get their 'happy ending'—done properly as the Creator intended, she would've still had her perfect ending as a revered Saint and sitting in the lap of luxury surrounded by handsome men. Instead these reincarnated heroines basically screw themselves over by trying to force the plot to got back the original route, instead of just going along and still getting a moderately happy ending instead of being kicked out, executed, and/or shamed for being a sl*t.

Thank you so much for the spoilers

I read the manwha of this, but i drop it after reading few chapters and after few months I read it again after 44 chapters.
Now I know the ending so I can fully drop it now.

Over all, the story was normal... Well, there are parts of manwha that I wonder where the sense of it and my brain cannot handle it, that's reason why i drop it and because of the curiosity of the ending for the saint and mc im reading it again.

The manhwa is dragging on with filler chapters that are a waste. The FL is also annoying by apologising for everything to the saint even though she's in the wrong is just enabling and making her think she's right. Grow a backbone and be a leader Connie! Ffs

I think Connie is trying to walk that line between saving her people and saving face. She has some small powers but ultimately can't fix her country/area without the saint. If she doesn't seem subserviant to her, then the saint will refuse to do anything thus causing more damage to the providence and the people living there.

Actually, I think what Connie is doing is more brave than if she just beat the saint into submission. She's having to discard her pride to try and save her people. That takes an awful lot of bravery and her people respect her for it.

Which isn't to say that I don't somewhat agree with you - FFS I just want to see Connie punch the saint so badly!

It's not saving face if you apologise for everything. This is why bullies get away with bullying because noone stands up to them so their mentality is skewed and think they're right.

I know where you're coming from but there is a time and place to lower your head and that was not one of them. To be a leader is leading by example. What does that show her people? Be cowards and not stand up and just be oppressed even though they did nothing wrong? Connie should just take it up with the king since Sylvia and useless prince took forever to get there. They got plenty of evidence of those 2 morons being useless. Oooh a punch would be so satisfying. But I think I'm just over characters like Connie, she's always a damsel in distress

"What are you suddenly saying, Your Highness Harald? Are you kidding?"
Harald stands up holding my hand and kisses the instep.
    "It's a terrible word. Konstanze. If you're not serious, I'm a man Kneeling, Isn't there a reason? "
Even when he was a brother-in-law with Harald, Harald was always a polite and gentle brother-in-law.
    However, he proposed to me.
Maybe it's not Harald's intention. It might have been ordered by the emperor
To reduce the once catastrophic and recover the lost marriage.
The breach that Wilhelm would have made at his own discretion must have been a pain for the emperor.
The relationship with the Marquis of Heideland was a long-cherished wish of the late emperor and we are powerful.
The emperor to control Heideland, which has a great power, you want have it as your own.Is it a place where you can't pretend to be?
(Aristocratic marriage would be like this ...)
Also, I'm really tired of thinking that my feelings will be ignored and swung around.
Besides, the other party is Wilhelm's younger brother.
Sylvia doesn't know about it, and she feels nauseous when she slides her partner from brother to brother.
"I was your brother's fiancée. I'm not just my fiancée. I'm a fiancée who he had been sleeping with and eating for two years.
"Even if you sleep with your brother, I don't care. It's a thing of the past."
Harald laughed, saying that I've had a lot of things up until now.

"Konstanze. Someone who speaks as much as youConsentyesIsn't it true that you don't answer immediately? You have something to hesitate to get married. "

"Yes. The lord of Meldorf is responsible for the future of the territory and its people. I can't throw it away."

"That's it? There's more. One of the reasons women are confused about political marriage is the existence of the opposite sex .... Isaac Reets. He's your man, right?"

    "e……?"

     Sweat floats on my forehead.

"I'm surprised. Love changes people, but that reach isn't there. You're a very romantic guy who chooses to live as your escort knight, abandoning all your battlefield buddies, honors, and futures of the Heideland Knights. I'm sorry. "

     Harald was impressed with it.

"But it's okay for this marriage. As long as you're the Crown Princess, it doesn't matter if you have a mistress or not. If you want to continue your relationship with Reats even if you get married Just continue. "

     I am not joking.

Why is this one-sided? The imperial family, no high-ranking men, try to do things on their own.

It doesn't matter what the other party is doing.

"No need to consider. We do not accept marriage proposals. We will refuse."

"Huh. Is that okay? good・nine・Consideration・e・hand・Decision・eye・hand・Greed・death・stomach・Hmm・is・hair・degree・?? Me・Le・Do・Le・centre・of・Territory・main・Tono・.. This marriage has nothing to do with each other's intentions. This is the will of the Reigning Emperor and God. "

    "Your Majesty and ... God?"

Why God here? I have a bad feeling.

"The other day, an oracle was given to the saint. Make you the Crown Princess."

    "oracle?"

Speaking of which, Sylvia said,CreatorCrumpledI can hear your voice. " Is it that the occasional revelation has come down again?

What's more, it's unreasonable to engage the next Crown Prince Harald with me, who is out of the main story.
    (It's too selfish)
Wrong. It's clear that the Creator is selfish.
So, do you really want to return to the scenario?
"The villain and the crown prince are engaged, and the engagement is abandoned with the love of the saint. The saint and the crown prince get married and become happy. "
Wilhelm, who was the crown prince, is abolished and a new crown prince is established.
The new crown prince is Harald.
In order to proceed as expected, I need to be engaged as a hit horse.
    (Really too bad taste)
Even though extras also have a life ...
Other than the main character, such as the grace of the Creator, it is nothing more than harmful.
     But there is hope.
We should be able to grasp and change the fate of the supporting characters.
     I don't move at the Creator's will.
    (I choose my life myself)
"His Highness Harald. The answer is the same, even at the direction of His Majesty or God. I will not marry you.
"... Two months later, His Majesty's celebration will be held in the Imperial City. I want you to give a formal answer by that time. If you think of Meldorf, I think the answer has been decided."
Harald smiled invincibly and returned to the hall.
I sigh while seeing him off.
    "One difficulty, after another difficulty"
Even the world of novels is too exciting. Where is the calm life?
