I just realized "Proud immortal demon way" had a more shitty plot than I thought... SQQ should has been only a scum cannon fodder mid boss right? but who was the last boss? the only righteous cultivators that could give Luo Binghe a run for his money are SQQ, LQQ and YQY but LQQ died for a plot device to make his sister one of LBH's wives and to make SQQ more scum, YQY died trying to save SQQ, then SQQ die as the stepping stone and turning point for Luo Binghe's new black way of living, but after that? the other sects cultivators are too weak and Hua Hua palace was already Luo Binghe's possession, MBJ who could be also strong enemy is LBH's subordinate and without the flower moon seed no Luo Binghe's father and ZZL. Without a last boss for LBH to fight with, the plot became just a slice of life type of book with Luo Binghe collecting wives likes pokemon.

 

the whole thing was just basically luo binghe "pushing down sisters" all porn and very little plot. No wonder it was so popular among men...with shen yuan being the exception

 

I also realized that the real villain apart Xi mo sword is the Hua Hua palace master. If he didn't obsess with Su Xiyan and plotted against TLJ, she would have lived happily with TLJ in the demon world and Luo Binghe would have been raised like a prince, and maybe being happy with Su Xiyan would make TLJ reconsider the risk to merge the two worlds. If Luo Binghe is a demon prince he wouldn't have gone to CQM sect thus no abuse from SQQ. No abuse, Luo Binghe isn't so vengeful to fuck up too bad all the sects. thus a happier world.
Make me imagine a fanfiction with this setting as past and Luo Binghe inherit his father wish to have the human world and demon world to get along, try to conquest it ( since he has been raised as a demon) and fighting with the righteous cultivators fell in love with original SQQ because he is an M like his father, and SQQ is WTF because someone fell for a scum rat like him ( and since Luo Binghe had totally different life from the canon SQQ don't resent him for the reason he did in canon, but still hate him because SQQ hate everyone, save Qi-Ge LOL) and because butterfly effect LQQ didn't die. Thus can start the romantic comedy of a scum villain trying to run away from the wooing of a dreamer demon prince with a sticky and stolker personality because he doesn't need love and want to hate himself and the world in solitude and peace.

Those "righteous" sect is the worse.. it's just like MDZS all over again.... they really don't have any morals...To be spouting such hurtful words like this and quick to pine this on LBH...

I really feel for LBH so much... Don't worry Binghe, at least you have SQQ believe in you...And that's all you ever need right? Even when it's really hurtful to know that your real father and mother is like that...

 

I can only imagine how lbh must feel hearing such awful things..

 

I can too that's why this chapter was so hard to read from LBH pov...(that's also why I feel sorry for him even more)

I don't know where you got 3000 from, but I thought his wife-count was in the hundreds (either 300 or 600).

As mentioned IN the novel, LBH in the original book (Proud Immortal Demon Way) was a charmer. He not only had good looks, but he also had smooth skills and he often times used his superior cooking to charm ladies into sleeping with him. He was also the type of guy that would steal other men's ladies (which is why some of the male characters SY points them out for having a grudge against LBH in the original book)

In chinese we say “a harem of 3000” but it’s just a way of saying this man has many women, not really means there are 3000. But very likely there’re hundreds of them in original LBH’s case. In that chapter where shizun is under house arrest and SQH pay him a visit, they discussed about the plot holes considering TLJ and SQH said something like he chose to ignore the plot line of TLJ and satisfy his readers by writing another plot: original LBH entering a certain flower maze stuff and had relationships(aka sex)with ONE HUNDRED flower fairies AT THE SAME TIME. Although it’s not very likely to be a lasting relationship but you can count his harem number +100, so it’s understandable that his harem reach three digits.
