I just started watching the donghua, and it's freaking hilarious. It's so nice to hear the emotional tone and inflection. It really brings the characters to life more than just reading it.

I think it's probably because in the novel, SQQ was always described as being cold and indifferent, elegant and regal. It's just that his inner monologue is a mess lol. So it was just nice hearing his inner monologue actually voiced haha.

Also EP3 of SVSS should be named "Luo Binghe's sexual awakening".

 

does anyone know if the anime will cover the whole story or be split into seasons?

 

This season has 10eps. So probably more seasons. It might end at the abyss thing.

Lol..ep 4 eng subs are also out.. and darn, his inner monologue is truly so funny contrasting with his regal, calm, accomplished cultivator exterior.. the fight is fun.. he is basking in the glory of his powers only for the system to tell him that he will die if LB doesn't get his chance to fight the demons.. so loving this anime ( i hope they do justice to romance unlike brotherhood of MDZS)

 

oh.. i watched ep 10.. so raw episodes were all out since the beginning..

ep 10 is very very abrupt.. didn't even reach any logical ending

To those who’ve read the original novel in jjwc, can you please tell me what did Ming Fan used to address Mu Qingfang in this excerpt?

 

With Xianxia, it might not necessarily be an 'age' thing. But given from the translation, it seems the other person would be higher up in the hierarchy of that generation.

 

So Ming Fan called Mu Qingfang shibo in the original? From what I know Shen Qingqiu is second in ranking.

 

Correction... according to a nonofficial raw... since the original is locked(?) "zhǎng mén shī bó hé mù shī shū"
So... I have no clue where they got the 'elder' from.

It is a fanfic. The author didn't write anything for SV after finishing the main story and extras, Also the canon ships are only Bingqiu and Moshang.
