As i have written in the title, the following statements/questions are partially jokes, but at the same time have a deep meaning. how deep that meaning is, depends on how deep you are willing to think. of course, sharing those thoughts is the reason this thread is labeled as discussion! Statements/questions: 1. Applesauce is a drink if you try hard enough. -> Nothig is impossible for the dedicated 2. Does Applesouce still deserve to be called "Apple"? -> Aceptance & Equality 3. Applesauce is good on bread. (bad wording, but its like peanutbutter or jelly) -> Diversity and Expansion 4. A jar of Applesauce is good enough for breakfast. -> The basic rule of lazyness 5. Cooled Applesauce counts as icecream. -> [open ended]
The essense of the apple changes its vessel. You destroy its purity with other ingridients... And then you have an apple pie, which does not represent an apple, but apple is a part of the pie...
1-> That is a blatantly fallacious argument. There are myriad things which are impossible, no matter how dedicated you are. Go breathe underwater or swim in a volcano if you don't agree. 2-> It's a derivative product of apples, so it is an apple as much as any derivative product can be. 3-> Subjective opinion. If you think it's good on bread, it's good on bread. Some people think peanut butter and pickles go well together. 4-> No, it is not. While it would provide you with a boost of energy thanks to its high sugar content, it would fail as a properly balanced and healthy meal. Avitaminosis could result if such practice persisted. 5-> No it does not. The specifics aside, global standards define ice cream as a frozen food made from a mixture of dairy products and requires a minimum amount of milk fat and milk proteins.
