Why It Should Get Picked Up: its interesting how there are conspiracy behind the usual harem set up. Though the POV isnt from the main hero and the harem protagonist, it gave some explenation why some harem (like the one in infinite stratos) is possible. The battle scene are also quite interesting. The MC is OP enough in spear martial arts to cover up the lack of legendary weapon. Yea, every chosen students got a legendary weapon to wield for their own. Plus, its the no 1 in syosetu on the action genre.

This sounds so unsatisfying. If you have to read through the negative pov of the one who wasn't 'chosen' or anything like that, I doubt you can enjoy reading through it. But maybe that's just my opinion, since stories that focus on the envy of the mc to another guy is not my cup of tea

 

not really though. The mc actually feels bad for the main hero, because how fake he really is. Besides, he isnt fighting for fame and fortune anyway.
